4.5% Sour Fruit Ale with strawberry, raspberry and mint.
Immediately fresh strawberry on the nose, almost like a smoothie.
Impenetrable salmon color (very opaque).
Abundant foam, evanescent but not too much (it does not disappear similarly to that of other Fruit Sours in which the foam looks like that of a Crodino or Campari). Tasty (strawberry).
In the mouth triumph of fruit: obviously predominant strawberry. But I also immediately distinguish the raspberry. Barely perceptible balsamic note before a typical "sour" of the Fruit Sour beers, therefore with a note that could portend an important astringency, but which in reality as quickly reaches the peak, it vanishes just as quickly and in the mouth remains absolutely distinguishable aftertaste of cereal (c ' is also wheat in addition to barley malt).
In the mouth then final of cereal on the tongue and fruit (this time I feel the strawberry more, without having just eaten one) on the palate.
Definitely a particular beer, I fully agree with the nickname "Moder Surol" that appears on the back of the can.
Certainly appreciated because all the ingredients that make it special stand out, but MANGO! MANGO! MANGO! Poppels remains superior in my personal preference of tastes.
