Poured from a 12oz bottle packaged early June.

Aggressive hops at first sip. Has a floral quality but hops are all about the pine. Pleasantly surprised and a very drinkable IPA.

Thick, frothy head which recedes ever so slowly. Plenty of chunky lace on the glass. The color is darker amber with a mild haze.

Fresh, green hop aroma. Reminds me of recently opened hop pellet bag. Light caramel sweetness.

Nicely balanced. Thick body with muted carbonation. This gives the malt base a creamy element. The hop dominates as one might expect, but the beer retains the malt through the swallow. The aftertaste is spicy, like white pepper.

A delicious IPA. Hazy golden color with yellowish-white head that leaves lacing. Nice hoppy aroma, typical floral and fruity smell. Taste is a great oily, fruity hop-forward IPA profile. Hard to say how it's different from a lot of other "West Coast" IPAs (though it is from Virginia), but it is a nicely balanced example of the style.

Poured from a bottle into a tulip glass. Color is a dark orange with about a finger of white foamy head. Strong orange aroma with a hint of bread to it. Mild beer, just a little bitterness to it, primarily orange flavors with a little bit of bread towards the end. Finished cleanly and quickly with virtually no lingering. Overall it has a very nice balance to it, an easy drinking IPA that should do well by itself or with most meals.

12 oz bottle poured into a stemmed, tulip style glass. Look: amber. Smell: a bit piney. Taste: Good balance of malts and hops, not super hop forward. Feel: medium bodied. Overall, a good go to IPA.

Pours a cloudy, medium dark orangey-gold. It has a big pillowy, dense cream-colored head that just lasts and lasts. Big blotches of soapy lacing are left behind. The aroma is a little lighter but still has some nice floral and citrus hops and a little bit of a bready quality in the background. The taste is much the same. The body feels a little light and there is a steady hit of carbonation throughout. Not bad but noticeable.
