Pours a deep clear, nearly black, brown. There is a thin light tan head that has light retention, too. It leaves small soapy lacing. The aroma is mild, but still has nice roasted malt tones but not much distinction or depth. The taste is a little more robust, with amplified chocolate malt and some earthy hops to balance it. The body is lighter and not quite as slick or oily and it has a little tingle on the finish. It's not as big as I'd like Baltic Porter to be, but it is still a quite good Porter and easy to drink.

Tap pull at Richmond Airport, VA, at ‘Sam Adams Brewhouse’ taproom.
Fine pour, tan foam on dark brown porter.
Aroma is fresh medium-dark roast malt, coffee, cacao,.
Taste follows; this is a basic porter, the use of lager yeast lends a clean taste. The beer leans toward ‘freshness’, rather than ‘mature’, so it feels and smells rather thin.
Mouthfeel is thin with medium carbonation.
Overall, the skeleton of this porter is fine, but it feels short on body and the fullness that a Baltic style porter delivers.

Awesome Beer! I like it because of its overall great balance of taste, body, color while not being too heavy or high in alcohol content.

Look: It pours dark brown with a light brown colored head. Head retention is good.
Smell: It has aromas of toffee and roast with a bit of chocolate. There are some nut notes in the background with very low dark fruit.
Taste: There are rich malt flavors with roast, chocolate, toffee, and nuts. There are hints of dark fruits.
Feel: It has a medium full body that is quite smooth.
Overall, it is balanced towards that malts with little else coming through in the flavor. The flavors are good, but a little more balance with the esters would have made it better.

From the bottle, it pours a dark brown with a light brown head that soon diminishes to a thin layer. In the nose, it is roasted/burned malt and a bit of coffee. In the mouth, it is roasted malt , coffee and a bit of char. Nice baltic porter.

Great looking beer, pretty good tasting Porter. Actually did nor care for the aroma. I had this beer way back on or about 10/21/2018 - probably need to try again and give a more thorough review.

12 oz. bottle says “Parked on 5/9/19”
Opaque ebony color with 4 cm. tan head. Head is persistent with full curtain of lacing.
Strong charred malt, coffee aromas
Wonderful dark malt, coffee, caramel, faint char flavors.
Medium body, easy drinking, stubborn carbonation, little to no alcohol heat from the 7%.
Well deserved reputation as a flagship beer.
