Drank this at The Aardwolf Brewery in Jacksonville Florida.
Appears dark brown with a tan foamy head that dropped quickly to a thin cap with some nice lacing.
Smells malty, coffee, sweet.
Taste follows the nose.
Mouth feel is medium light for the style.
Overall, could be more malty, sweet for my taste, but a nice example of the style

I'm trying this at the brewery. It poured a clear mahogany with ercu head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had hints of coffee. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink but finished a bit bitter and acidic. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a solid beer.

Dark Amber/opaque brown draft 16oz pour with rich tan head; taste of roasted nut and lite coffee aftertaste; medium lite mouthfeel; slightly metallic finish and linger; overall, liked the nose and start, but not crazy about the finish.

On tap at Aardwolf Brewing Company in Jacksonville, FL.
Pours a golden dark brown, with a half inch head, and a little bit of lacing.
Smells really richly of toasted bread, roasted malt, toffee, roasted coffee, and chocolate.
I'm really starting to dig coffee-enchanced brown ales. The roasted, bitter coffee flavor plays really well off of the caramel, toffee, and toasted bread aspect of the brown ale. There's a little bit of hop flavor resembling tea.
This is medium bodied, with a rich and crisp mouthfeel, and a higher level of carbonation.
A really nice beer and a good introduction to this brewery.
