A: No head on a hazy pale reddish pink body.

S: maple, bacon, tart raspberry, hickory and almost some mesquite notes.

T: for as much bacon and hickory in the aroma the tart raspberry although mild surprisingly takes a front seat. There is some residual bacon and maple but not very much. Also a little strawberry.

M: light body and light carbonation.

Overall: weird. But that was the point I think. I know this was made in honor of a friend to the brewery who has a bizarre and possibly exclusive obsession with the malt liquor style. I imagine this brew reflects that misguided passion.
