Feb. 2017: Shared 650 ml bottle at local tasting. Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of piney and fruity hops, pineapple and coconut. The flavour is very fruity with pineapple and coconut, but also with a distinct hop bitterness.

I was really surprised by the complex flavors. Getting notes of pine and coconut. I get hints of juniper in the aroma. Completely unexpected and a very smooth and easy drink.

On-tap served in a snifter at Hair of the Dog, Bangkok.
Mildly hazed deep amber orange as a showcase, it tops with thick silky white head that stays with quite good retention before gradually sinking to a long-lasting bubble sheet atop and leaving numerous of sticky and refined lacing wave.
The aroma is led by floral, tropical, pineapple, grapefruit, some roasted coconut, kaffir lime, some spice, and bready, biscuity yet slight caramel malt.
Not that so juicy or fruity, led by roasted sweet coconut and roasted malt, the rest is like the aroma with roasted coconut dominated as well as some spice. The end and aftertaste is wrapped up and lasting with some hop bitterness and residual roasted coconut.
Medium body with good crispness and lively carbonation through the palate, quite smooth mouthfeel, the feeling is refreshing with a dry finish.
It is led by fruity and tropical liveliness before sweet roasted coconut taking over the palate and nose once the beer get settled. A Unique IPA.

22oz bottle served in an Imperial Nonic glass
From notes - 11/09/15
This one took me by surprise. I was expecting another failed novelty brew injection of your latest fruit/flavor adjunct type of production but I must say this one is well done and worth checking out. Pours a hazy golden yellow color with a tall standing white head that has some solid retention efforts and leaves behind a tone of sticky lacing as it settles. Looks as if it were pineapple juice even.
Has a real nice tropical hop aromas with notes of fresh squeezed pineapple coming through and a hint of coconut oil. Picking up on some fruity hops of peach and guava too. Smells sugary but not detecting much in the way of any malt character. Really nice and fruit forward with a big hit of caramelized pineapple and fresh coconut meat. Has an overall sweetness but not cloyingly so with a mid-palate hop bitterness kicking in. Carries on further with notes of citrus zest, mango, and some stemmy pine. The finish brings on more of that sweet pineapple and coconut on the linger.
Can’t believe they actually pulled this one off really. I was no fan of Pineapple Sculpin so expectations were low but this here is a tropical hop smoothie.

Picked up a bomber from BevMo Bell Road on 10-8-16 for $6.49. No visible bottling date but this was relatively fresh as this was one of several releases made within a week of purchase.
Beer poured golden with a beautiful white head that is leaving lacing behind.
Nose is citrus forward, very nice.
Taste is citrus with some pith finishing coconut colada.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and refreshing.
Overall a pretty solid beer with the different twist with the colada that is worthy of a shot.

Poured from a 22-ounce bottle, dated 7/12/16, a clear pale yellow under a 2-inch thick white head which leaves splotchy lace. Aromas of pineapple and tropical fruits, trace coconut. Flavor is very muted, not much. Perhaps an "old" bottle, but finishes slightly dry with some dankness. Just O.K. as a basic IPA.

Poured into a pint glass. Hazy bright yellow color with a frothy white head.Decent retention as well. Unsure how old the bottle was, but reasonable pineapple aromas. Faint coconut and tropical notes, with some white bread and dough. The taste was as billed, with a prominent sweet coconut and pineapple. Moderately bitter with a clean finish. A fun beer for sure.
