Notes:
This is a delicious and fruity IPA without the punch to the face. The Amarillo and Simcoe hops complement natural mango flavor for a juicy, tropical, well-balanced beer. Originally made for Sublime Alehouse's 4th Anniversary.

Actually picked up two of these at Bine & Vine on a recent trip, but meant to only get one. Surprised I hadn’t reviewed it, let alone even tried it. I thought I’d had it before. Calls for, “This is a delicious and fruity IPA without the punch to the face. The Amarillo and Simcoe hops complement natural mango flavor for a juicy, tropical and well-balanced beer.”
Poured a light amber murky color with two fingers of off-white frothy head. Could see some bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass at different speeds. Very good spotty lacing. Excellent retention. (Sight - 4.00)
Smelled mango, peach fruit at the bottom yogurt, apricot and pineapple. Couldn’t really decipher any hops, but was really digging this. Even sweeter out of the can. (Smell - 4.50)
Taste wasn’t nearly as good, but still solid. Got mango, peach fruit at the bottom yogurt, apricot, pineapple, hints of Amarillo and lingering spice, probably from the Simcoe. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Fruity finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Really liked this beer for what it was. (Overall - 4.25)

Hazy, amber hue. Loose off-white fluffy foam. Smells of mango, pineapple, and subtle hop bitters. Taste is lightly hoppy, a gentle mango flavor comes through and stays to the finish. Overall, pretty good but would like a little more mango.

Cloudy amber brew with a long-lasting foam. Fruity aroma but not overtly mango. Maybe in the aftertaste it's more like mango. Tastes like pineapple-banana fruit juice. But then there's the hoppy kick. The hops are quite bitter, like some kind of herbal tea overdose. Starts sweet and fruity, finishes bitter and brutal. Not such a good combination. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Barons Market on West Point Loma.

Slightly cloudy yellow pour with a big white head. Really nice big and juicy mango aroma. Taste has nice bitterness upfront with strong citrus and tropical fruit flavors. The straight mango flavor is a bit more subdued in the taste than the nose.
