Pineapple gold with a light haze, a few slow rising bubbles, and topped with 5 fingers of yellowish white, glassy head.

Smells of weed, garlic, big dankness, hints of orange, bitter herbs, and light tropical fruit notes.

Big weed, catnip, and fresh green herbal notes. These are predominate, with a little lemon drop in there too.

Light feeling body, with a little carbonation. Really hides the ABV, hence the name! Could sneak up on you.

Really good brew. This is world class in my opinion. Got and drank in Chiang Mai, September 18th, 2017.

Poured from a 16oz can into a IPA glass.
Look- golden, hazy, turbid with small particles, adequate head retention and lacing.
Smell- citrusy
Taste- sharp citrus flavor, slightly unbalanced, perfect happiness, good finish.
Feel- somewhat thin, good carbonation.
Overall- really liked this beer, my only complaint is that it is a little too citrusy up front.

Type: 16-oz. can
Glass: Beer Nerd 12-oz. tulip
From: Windmill Farms in Del Cerro (San Diego), Calif.
Price: $2.39

Picked this up on a recent trip to Windmill Farms. Was psyched to see some pretty sweet local cans on my first trip there in a long time. Had been wanting to try this one for a long time and not quite sure why it took so long. Generally not a big fan of their IPAs, but do like their milk stouts. Hoping to be surprised with this one and the description - Amarillo, Citra, Simcoe & Mosaic - certainly made it a possibility.

Poured a pale-to-gold semi-clear color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy white head. Lots of bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass. Outstanding sporadic foamy lacing. Outstanding foamy retention. (Sight - 4.00)

Smelled sugary Citra, trashy Mosaic, Simcoe, pineapple, white grapefruit, mango, dank resin, peach, apricot, stone fruit and citrus zest. (Smell - 4.25)

Taste followed the nose, maybe even better. Wow, the four hops really worked well together here. Got sugary Citra, Mosaic, Amarillo orange and Simcoe. Easily picked out. Also white grapefruit, pineapple, peach, stone fruit, mango, passion fruit, light resin, lime and pine. Tastes more like a DIPA. (Taste - 4.50)

Medium body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Dry finish. (Feel - 4.00)

Just an excellent IPA. Couldn’t believe how good this was. And couldn’t believe Belching Beaver made a good IPA. (Overall - 4.25)

Orange gold beer with a sticky white head that leaves a curtain of lacing. The aroma is sweet, bright, lemony, grassy and piney. Malty sweet and bitter with lemon and melon that finishes with a pine bitterness. A bit unique flavor for me but it so works and I like it.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a lightly hazy, golden amber with a fine two finger white head with great retention and thick lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and dank hops, orange and guava. Flavor is pale, slightly caramel malt, citrus and piney hops with some dank notes, light orange, grapefruit and lemon citrus, guava and mango. Finishes with lightly resinous pine and citrus hops that seem a little subdued but leave a nice lingering bitterness that subsides with a return of light caramel. Medium bodied with light creaminess and mouth feel. A good balanced IPA with an interesting flavor progression with more citrus and dankness in the start, then revealing light tropical fruit before finishing with lingering hop bitterness and more malt flavors. More dank than I expected from the can description, "mix of citrus and hoppy goodness", but an interesting hop bill that is a bit muddled but satisfying. Well done.

Packaged 7 days ago. 16oz can into wine glass. This is a tasty complex hazy brew with dominant mosaic and amarillo hops qualities. It's like a mixture between Petaluma Hill's Line and Twine with Knee Deep's Breaking Bud. Very enjoyable and dank ipa.

Poured from 16oz can into Spiegelau IPA glass.

Look: A hazy orangish yellow with two fingers of thick white head.

Smell: Typical pine and citrus hop aroma - love it!

Taste: Really goes with the nose - citrus and floral hops are strong.

Feel: Light and crisp feel with a dry finish.

Overall: A nice IPA that is smooth. Love it after a long day. Could easily drink it again with pleasure.
