Our Milk Stout Nitro. This is the first beer we made; we can finally bring you in its original Nitro version to go. No one in San Diego made a Milk Stout so Troy wanted to come out with something unique. Tastes of chocolate and roasted coffee and silky smooth, don't let the color fool you this is an easy drinking style. The mother of our PB stout. Welcome to the Beaver family, good times to you my friend!

This beer is great after a long bike ride. The look dark black not enough head it but I might not of poured it hard enough. It smelled like delicious peanut butter. The taste was awesome. The mouth feel was very nice because it was a nitro. Silky smooth and the peanut butter taste was not over powering. Yummy. A perfect beer after a hard mountain bike ride.

Had on tap at the Longfellow Grill. It arrives bright dark brown with a 1/4" light tan foam cap with a very fine bead and excellent retention. It has a rich chocolate and nut aroma with some light roast notes. Hop aromas are low. It is very creamy chocolate and hazel nuts and a few coffee notes. It is moderately sweet with a lightly bitter finish. Nothing harsh or burnt. This is an excellent dessert beer.

Bottle poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewing Co pint glass
A: Pours cascading browns to near black with a creamy tan head that settles to a light layer and laces nicely.
S: Roasty, big milk chocolate, a touch of char, earthy, fair t dark fruit, lactose and toffee sweetness.
T: Roasted malt, milk chocolate, a touch of char, earthy, a little vanilla, faint herbal notes and dark fruit, lactose, and toffee sweetness.
M: Medium body, mild carbonation, slightly creamy.
O: Pretty solid milk stout. I'm curious to see how it is without the nitro treatment.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into glass. Stamped bottling date is '11/19/18'.
Black colored body, with brown backlit highlights. Thin, light tan head. No lacing.
Aroma of dark roasted coffee, dark chocolate, char, slight smoke, vanilla, and milk sweetness.
Taste is full of dark roasted coffee and campfire char, along with milk chocolate and a touch of vanilla.
Mouth feel is thin, with good carbonation. Once the milk chocolate kicks in the beers smooths out, and there is a definite chocolate milk flavor in the aftertaste.
A beer that is split between the initial charred darkness and the later sweeter, milk chocolate. Slightly creamy overall, but the body is a little thin for full and richer enjoyment.

12 oz. bottle:
Pours very dark brown to black with a thin head that is slightly fizzy.
The rich smell is of chocolate, molasses, a bit of roasted coffee and a touch of lactose/milk. Slightly roasty for the style, but still rich and pleasant.
The taste is of chocolate. Sweetness balanced by mild roast more than the typical lactose/sour notes. Still, it has a nice dark malt character that is sweet but balanced enough to be easy to drink.
Could be fuller and could be creamier for a nitro, but it fits the lighter side of medium well enough and does have a pleasant lingering aftertaste.
A milk/sweet stout that is a bit light on the milk and slightly roastier than typical, but still works well. Nice chocolate notes. A nice brew!

Pours like a brown ale. Thin and watery. Smell is burnt coffee, and smoked malts. Almost savory. Taste is similar. Acrid, savory, coffee with a smokey aftertaste. Mouthfeel is watery and flat. I have a feeling this beer was mediocre even before it was further ruined by adding nitrogen. D+
