You can’t brew America’s favourite Peanut Butter flavoured Milk Stout without asking yourself, what‘’s missing? Jelly, of course. PB & J Blonde balances notes of creamy smooth peanut butter with a fruity and bright grape flavour that reminds you you’re never too old for the best dam sandwich around. Cheers!

A- This one pours a golden color that leans to the yellow side of things and is chill hazed or contains a good amount of suspended yeast. The head is white but there isn't much to be had, but rather it is a thin patchy layer over the brew itself. Lacing is modest at best and provides an oily film with small amounts of foam that cling to the side of the glass! Average looking overall....
S- Heavy peanut butter aromas, with biscuity wafer, toast, butter and sweet hints of jam but outside of the PB, these are all in the background....as this warms the grape like jam/jelly aroma comes out stronger (this is good). Caramel, milk chocolate and cream are throughout and linger right through to the finish with a fresh white bread goodness. Yum!
T- The flavors follow suit, not in an overpowering fashion either but rather provides a clean peanut butter overtone, with toast/wafer, sweet caramel/toffee, fruity & lightly tart fruit jam, vanilla creme, mild milky chocolate, nougat and nutty throughout!
M/O- Light/medium bodied, with a fair bit of cleansing carbonation on the palate. It really does have all of the right balance between clean, full flavored and just a bit of a hop presence on the finish....a real delight! I will definitely pick this one up again and like all of the other Belching Beaver brews I've had thus far, we have another winner!

Pours a beautiful clear golden amber pushing to bronze with solid finger plus of slightly tawny foamy head.
Aroma is malty, bready with a fruity berry smell up front, but there is a distinct nuttiness reminiscent of their PB Milk Stout in back.
Taste of sweet cereal malt, doughy with prominent roasted peanut flavour that dominates the softer berry/fruity sweetness.
Solid medium mouthfeel with moderate carbonation giving an easy drinking PB&J effect.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear purple tinted-golden blonde color with a small head of white foam. The head has a moderate level of retention, fading over time and leaving a touch of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is quite nice, being a mix of a bready and doughy smell mixed with lots of sweet peanut butter and grape jelly. Along with these smells comes notes of crème and milk and a little bit of grain. Overall, the aroma is very reminiscent of a pb&j sandwich.
Taste- The taste starts out drier than I would have anticipated from the nose. It begins with a malty bready flavor mixed with a rather sizable roasted peanut taste. There is a bit of crème and grape jam present upfront, with both of these flavors fading a touch as the taste advances. While the sweeter jam fades, the peanut butter takes on more sweetness as the flavor progresses forward, with it being joined by some caramel and a bit of a graham taste. Toward the end some graininess and seed like flavor work there way in, mixing with the rest to create a nice, moderately smooth and sweet, pb&j taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – THE body of the brew is medium in thickness and creaminess for a 5.5 % abv brew, with a carbonation level that is middle of the road as well. Overall, a bit thicker of a body and lower carbonation level may have been slightly better for the flavors, but all in all, the feel was decent.
Overall – A pretty fun brew to try. It maintained a nice drinkability by keeping the flavors rich, but not overwhelming with too much sweetness. A rather nice pb&j brew!

What I have tried from Belching Beaver has been solid. A blonde PB&J, I am game. The packaging is simple, compared to the Deftones beer label. The beer is 44 degrees and served in a mug. A gentle pour gave one finger off-white head. The head is creamy and foamy with good retention. The head slowly dissipated and leaving no lacing on the mug. The color of the beer is SRM 4 a pale gold color with hues yellow. The clarity of the beer is slightly hazy. The beer has carbonation bubble visible and is rising from the bottom of the mug.
The initial aroma is a peanut butter and jelly sandwich dip in beer. Additional aromas in the beer are toasted malt, sugar, grapes, captain crunch, and yeast.
The beer taste like roasted peanuts, toasted malts, grape jelly, captain crunch, sugar, and yeast.
The mouthfeel of the beer is carbonated and creamy.
The body of the beer is medium-light, medium carbonation, and a medium finish.
This beer smells like a fried peanut butter sandwich in captain crunch. The beer is appetizing and I enjoyed it. I am glad that I got the chance to drink this beer.

Taster at Growler Guys. If you like a good b &J sandwich this is for you. Not your typical blonde ale. Heavy on the PB, light on the J. But it gets it's point across. Delicious

Great flavor, great smell, easy drink. Not over the top with sweetness like others who have tried to make a pb&j flavor. I thought it was well balanced. I would drink it again.

Pours golden color with thick white head and good lacing. Nose is great, peanut butter, sweet grape, malt. The taste follows the nose, super clean PB&J, this is well done, nothing over the top or sweet, just a chewy nutty beer. I think they got this one right you get that classic taste but not so over the top it kills the beer. Fantastic guys, really fun beer and tasty.
