Notes:
America’s Favorite Peanut Butter Milk Stout: this silky-smooth beer put us on the map. Troy came up with the idea of combining Peanut Butter with our Beaver’s Milk Stout and he nailed it. Don’t let the dark color fool you, this beer is delightfully easy to drink with cascading aromas of roasted peanuts, dark chocolate and coffee.

It pours a pitch black with a 1" head of tannish foam. Tilting my glass and voila. Lots of nice lacing.
The smell is unmistakenly that of peanut butter! Imagine that. There's a bit of a chocolate aroma coming through as well. Hmm...the smell sure lives up to what I hoped for slash expected.
Holy crap! The taste is even better than the smell. Yep, plenty of peanut butter, wonderful notes of or more like cocoa nibs, AND coffee. But there seems to be a mild fruity thang going on way back in the way background. I sense it infrequently but I'm pretty sure it is there.
Silky smooth mouthfeel, I kind of feel overwhelmed with how this is so much better than I had hoped for.
If I ever have another brew calling itself a Peanut Butter beer that doesn't involve doughnuts and bananas, it has a BIG chore ahead of it to come close to what this here brew has accomplished.

Thanks to Orthodoxkardia for this beer.
22 oz bottle. Pours a black color with a small layer of brown head. Fantastic and unique aroma. Lots of lacing. Chocolate milk, peanuts, cocoa, caramel, honey, coffee and roasted malts. The taste is somewhat reminiscent of Reese's Pieces. Peanut butter, dark chocolate, roasted malts, coffee and sweet lactose. Finishes with more chocolate milk and peanut butter. Not overly sweet. Lightly carbonated with a light mouthfeel. Somehow this beer works very well. Overall, one of the best Milk Stouts I have ever had.

Poured from 12oz can into a snifter glass.
Look: Very dark brown to black with a very thin layer of brown head. Not really transparent at all.
Smell: A delightful aroma of coffee and chocolate malts with a milky sweet peanut butterness to it.
Taste: It very much follows the aroma and is heavenly.
Feel: Starts light and gets creamy as it sits in the mouth. Would love to experience it on nitro draft.
Overall: Wow to be honest I am blown away. Was not expecting as much peanut butter flavor that I ended up getting. Easily one of the better beers I have had.

Poured into a snifter/tulip/wine glass from a 22oz bottle
A - Deep dark brown/black with little to no deep tan head and no legs/lacing
S - The peanut butter is up in your face and and quite fantastic. Smells of moose-tracks ice cream. Very creamy, rich, fresh grains, roasted grains, slight coffee, milk chocolate, oatmeal, slick sweet malts, bread yeast, earthy hop, very woodsy and lots of soil.
T - Again the peanut butter is in your face. Slight coffee, milk chocolate, lots of brown earth, earthy hops, toasted/roasted everything, very creamy, rich without being to sweet, bread yeast and the grains are so fresh in the nose and taste.
M - Full bodied, well balanced, nice complexity, medium acidity, medium carbonation and a peanut buttery adventure from beginning to end.
D/O - Really neat stout here. On tap this one is much better in my opinion but still really fun. Lots going on but each ingredient balances the other. Would love for them to make an imperial version of this one. Really great on this cold Christmas night and great right out of the tap in summer as well. Refreshing, tasty and goes with sweet and savory foods. Paired this with a Santa Maria style tri-tip once and man, near perfection.
Final thoughts - With an under 6% ABV $7-9 a bottle is quite high, at least for me. None the less worth a go or ten.

Poured out a very black color with a a very small and quickly dissipating head of brown foam. There were also a lot of small but chunky brown floaters visible in my glass. This was split between me and the wife and she got the first pour, of course so perhaps there is something down towards the bottom?
The smell is like a blast of Peanut Butter! There was a hint of chocolate and maybe a hint of coffee towards the back of the nose.
Now the taste. PEANUT BUTTER!!! Any surprise here? There was some small coffee bitter towards the back of the mouth.
The mouth was medium with a silky feel and a wet finish,
Overall this is a heavy on the Peanut Butter flavored beer and may be over the peanut top for some. I like peanut butter so this one worked well for me. I also noticed a lot of sediment at the bottom of the bottom of the bottle so there may be some swirling action needed at the end of the pour to get some more of that Peanut Butter flavor. Really good and very creative beer.

like a lo of pb stouts, a little disappointing..... rather thin body, high on the carbonation, with a slightly funky nutty taste that does improve as it warms.... does offer some roasty nut notes, very mild chocolate, and a hint of coffee--- not bad at all, just would like a thicker more flavorful version (but PB stouts seem to be difficult as even dragontrax was a huge disappointment this year)

As Matt Kemp blasts a huge solo bomb to sink "America's sweethearts" the Cardinals, Raul is sippin on this bad boi and feelin' mighty fine.
Pours a jet black that is almost blacker than black like Conrad going into the Heart Od Darkness.
Smell...oh my. Like Lucille Ball making little Rickey a peanut butter sandwich; literally, almost dead on.
Taste? Alright, alright...not bad. Same as the nose. Strong peanut butter and not much else.
Mouthfeel is a bit of a letdown. Like Getting a meatball sub at Subway with only 4 balls - it's a bit lacking. Thin, a bit over-carbonated... but not terrible.
This is an interesting brew, my peeps. I suggest y'all peep it.

a: dark black color. forms a large 3 finger dark brown/tan head that is the fizziest i've ever seen in a beer. fades to nonexistence in about 2 seconds
s: well. that smells like peanut butter. chocolate & peanut butter. dark toffee, black licorice. theres a smell of graham cracker here. dark sugary syrup, and just a hint of toasted malts
t: the taste is similar to the nose. a smooth combination of creamy peanut butter & milk chocolate. theres a hint of dark prunes and raisins in here - but its real slight. there a bit more of the roasted malt character in here than the nose. i can taste a little bit of a harsh bitterness from that toasty-ness. then you're hit with the lactose, which smooths everyone and adds a nice creamy sweetness to the end of this
m: its a syrupy, medium mouthfeel with a big fizzy presence. as with their other stout, the fizziness of the mouthfeel really reminds me of drinking a soda
o: better than the regular stout. the combination of peanut butter/chocolate/graham/lactose in here balances out nicely. its only 5.3% so it drinks pretty easy, yet manages to give a little bit of stickiness in the mouth. normally i don't like the amount of fizziness level that this has, but it actually works well to cut the richness from the peanut butter & chocolate flavors.

Bottle of unknown date into a tulip glass. More black than brown with non-existent head. Nose is major peanut butter, very delightful, with hints of chocolate. Shocked by the limited amount of peanut butter in the taste. Going to let it warm up a few minutes to see if that improves. Finish is solid for a milk stout.
