Poured from a 330ml bottle into a Fullers snifter glass.

Pours a dark red/amber colour with a decent enough white head.

Smells vaguely spicy, hoppy but not very fresh.

Tastes hoppy - piney, citrus fruits. Slightly soapy and quite a bit of sweet caramel malts.

Overall a decent enough attempt but underwhelming, and the soapy off taste is a bit off putting.

On tap at Hack and Hop. One of the best IPAs I've had in London. Nice drinkable IPA without trying to over-Americanize the style.

Pint on tap at Porterhouse at Covenant Garden. Pours an orangish hue...looks good but head is DOA. Smell is fresh C hops. Not sure the exact mix, but cascade and centennial seem as good a guess as any. Piney west coast aroma, although it falls short of the best examples. Taste follows as expected with plenty of piney bitterness; dry but some of the fruityness gives the sense of sweetness. Too bad it was not a cask offering; I'd love to see more IPAs here on cask. Overall, certainly worth a try.
