Appearance: Arrives fudge colored with ruby highlights; a few splashes of lace remain

Smell: Chocolate and roasty tones

Taste: Chocolate and roasty tones on the front end of the palate with some hops in the middle to cut the sweetness somewhat; boozy in the finish with a chocolate and coffee character

Mouthfeel: Thick and luscious, with moderate carbonation; very creamy mouthfeel

Overall: Rich and fudgy with a great mouthfeel; a bit more of a dark fruit complexity is necessary for this beer to score higher from my perspective

Well I found out we gave it 1st place @ the 2017 LA International Beer Festival last weekend so it was a definite stand out in the crowd of almost 30 other Imperial Stouts.
