My old neighbor from Oswego gave me a can of this beer. It poured a hazy orangish with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had apricots. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with tropical fruit presence. The mouthfeel is fuller in body with good carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.

16 oz can, born on 9/27/21, into stemless glass.
Gorgeous honey-orange with a creamy cap of 2 fingers, leaving lots of lace in perfect swirled lines as it recedes to a fluffy half finger.
Aroma is honey, graham, sharp grapefruit, juicy orange, slight dankness, and pine.
Flavor is huge honey and graham, so much malt here... followed by an oddly welcome note of chocolate orange but with very fresh and juicy oranges. It's candy-like. It's magical. Perhaps that's a little spoilage creeping in but I don't care. Pink and yellow starburst follow up, and then it finishes on some white grapefruit, pine, and pink starburst. A malt assault but absolutely delicious.
Feel is juicy and soft, with medium plus carbonation and a bit of alcohol heat that's maybe a tad excessive for 7.2% but I don't mind really. Resinous, drying finish.
Overall, this just kicked the bleep out of the Bearded Iris Attention Please that I just had (canned 9/20/21 and fading already). BIBCO is slipping, but these guys are starting to take their place for me. Wow, this was just incredible. I've got goosebumps. Illinois ain't THAT far away...

16oz can bb 12/4/19 poured into a tulip
A: Very hazy light orange/light brown with a 1.5 finger head
S: Loads of tropical fruit & citrus, hints of earth/pine
T: Matches the nose just not as crisp
M: Medium-bodied, soft
O: A tasty NEIPA, I just got it from a friend yesterday & would love to try it again closer to its birthday

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on April 11, 2019. A combination of pale British, American and German malts with copious amounts of Citra and Apollo hops. Dank notes of fruit and fresh hops.

The look was a hazy orange color with a pretty fluffy head. The smell was very citrusy. Oranges, tangerines, and grapefruit. The taste was juicy up front but at the end there was a little bit of a nice piney flavor and a touch of bitterness. Nice smooth medium mouthfeel. My first beer from Triptych and I'm impressed.

16oz can poured into HF stemmed ballon glass. Canned on 03/01/2019.
Appearance: nice hazy / opaque dull golden yellow with tall white head. Good head retention. Lots of lacing.
Smell: Citra hop notes are bigger than the Apollo hops. Huge oranges and a hint of grapefruit. Melon rind is also prevalent in the aroma.
Taste: Prevalent oranges, mango, and melon notes. Hint of grapefruit with a light pine and light dankness. Also tasting lemon - lime sherbet in the finish.
Mouthfeel: Upfront you get juicy hops; the finish is slightly dry. The beer has rather "clean" character about it, which probably accentuates the slight dryness of the beer. Medium bodied beer. Lightly creamy carbonation. Definitely has drink-ability going for it.
Overall: Citra and Apollo make an interesting/complex aroma & flavor profile for this beer. Cleanness and low bitterness of this beer drives up the drink-ability; though the cleanness tends to slightly detract from that hazy / juicy profile. Really dig what Triptych is doing with hops. Many great "hazies" crafted by this brewery.

Canned 3/1/19; drank 3/15/19 @ the Palace.
Opaque orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a HUGE white head; strong, frothy lace.
Orange citrus, wheat & table sugar notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Tangy orange citrus, wheat, baking soda & table sugar flavors.
This smelled OK, but it's an off-putting IPA that holds little resemblance to the New England style it aspires to.
