A: Pale yellow with one finger white head with large bubbles. Heavy sticky lacing.

S: Citrus and floral hops and saltine crackers.

T: Lemon and grapefruit. Pine resin and orange peel. A touch of malt sweetness.

M: Very light with steady bubbles, and a dry bitter finish.

O: A light refreshing IPA with flavors that opened up nicely as it warmed.

22oz bomber poured to tulip

Appearance is clear medium gold, with a gorgeous creamy off white head, 2 fingers laying down to a persistent pencil width, nice lacing

Aroma initially had an odd rubber note, quickly replaced by citrus, pine and some floral hop notes, some light toffee aroma as it warms further

Taste is very hop forward west coast style, lots of bitterness with notes of black pepper, pine resin, and orange peel. Good stuff, but romps all over the malt

Mouthfeel is sharp and refreshing

Overall: I love it when my first experience with a brewer new to me is awesome, and Dirty Dog is all that. Visually, this beer sets the bar higher than even some IPAs I may have rated higher, I want to take pictures of it as much as drink it. Only negative was that odd aroma right after the pour, which quickly resolved to more normal ipa things, perhaps a non-traditional aroma hop in use? Flavor is well out of balance to the hop side, perhaps even bitier than 70 IBU would suggest. I used to have a rule about never buying a beer with a happy dog on the label (I think a god awful Spanish Peaks brew and an early meh Flying Dog were the genesis of that), that rule is hereby rescinded. This dog can hunt.
