Zipline American Tripel, 7.8% ABV, 31 IBU. Pours medium viscosity and cloudy orange with a slight white head. Nose is yeast and a touch of fruit. Taste follows, plus a slight onion flavor, with a moderate bitter close. Excellent mouthfeel, overall excellent.

Poured into a chalice, the appearance was a soft bronzed yellow to orange color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head. Mild lace. The aroma had some bread, grass, honey, tropical fruit and then a light funk and danky sweet onion. Somewhat crisp and juicy. The flavor proved to be sweet and juicy with a Belgian sweet breadiness playing with a little basement funk. All comes together in the aftertaste and flowing on into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation. Lingering booziness is felt, but seems acceptable. Overall, I do see the Tripel qualities coming forth fairly strong with a nice Americanized "feel" to this. Definitely worthy of having again.

Delightful peach-cantaloupe color. Head is heavy and 2 fingers tall, very thick with white foam.
Aroma is full of fruit - peach, cantaloupe, apricot, melon, plum, with hints of smoked malt as well. There's a formidable alcohol presence in the nose as well, but far from burnt.
Flavor is a wave of apricot and mango, cantaloupe rind following through and getting louder as it finishes; a sharp clear distilled alcohol punch, plum, light citrus hops, and lots of fruit rinds overall.
Feel is creamy and very carbonated at the same time. Hot alcohol presence.
Overall, a major win. This beer is fabulous. Get some.

Poured from a single-serve bottle.
Look--Not much head, but excellent lacing throughout. Perhaps a bit darker than the "standard" of the style, but intriguing in its color (orange?)
Aroma--Perhaps a little heavy on the hop and citrus. But there is an unmistakable sweetness, spiciness and complexity. All of those personal tastes (or is it "nasal preferences") aside, one thing is for sure--this brew does not hold back in the aroma department. The aroma is very forward, but the lack of subtlety isn't offputting at all. I echo one of the other comments below. Regardless of your personal preferences on aroma, this beer lets it all hang out in this aspect, and that is a good thing.
Taste--After the first smell, the taste is somewhat of a downer. Not because it tastes bad, but because the taste lacks the bold complexity by comparison. There is a strong piney hop note on one end of the spectrum, and an equally strong malty/sweet note on the other, but there is something missing in the middle that I cannot quite put my finger on. It ends up coming off a little bit sweet for the style. Still, very smooth and dangerously drinkable, as the ABV is perfectly hidden.
Feel--Lacking a bit in the carbonation and finish. I think if this had a bit more carbonation, it would provide a "dry" note that might fill the gap in the middle that I mentioned on the "taste" profile.
Overall--I'm a hopeless "euro-snob" regarding this style. But this is a fine, smooth, drinkable American take, particularly for the cost. It is much better than many others I've tried (including some true Belgians) that are 50%-75% higher on the per-bottle cost. I would recommend to anyone looking to enter the style.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a Tulip glass showed a nice looking Golden Orange brew with a half finger white head, aroma was straight up IPA/DIPA which was a real let down...the taste followed with a citrus IPA-like flavor. Mouthfeel was medium which worked well for the style it was labeled as, tasting as it warmed a little helped show some of the other flavors mentioned by other members but still had a heavy IPA tang...overall not what a Tripel should taste like but I like the ABV and I love this brand...this was something I was looking forward to trying but it was a miss for me...I have 3 more for later...
* Update- after exchanging Twitter posts with Zipline and doing another taste test I have a better understanding of what they were going for and think they did a good job and with my second taste I'm getting more flavors....I did let it warm about 15 min before I tried it again. This being my first American Tripel it was up and down with nothing to judge by, hope to see more and I enjoy giving everything a taste.

On tap at the Brewery’s tap room.
Please make a perfume out of this beer and give it to my wife. I would suggest just pouring the beer over her but she wouldn’t put up with that, but it would be fun in O so many ways! A deadly beer at an 8.0% ABV. 4.25
A – Classic saison color, hazy pale orange with a one-finger white head that dissipates to almost nothing, but continually leaves some beautiful Belgian lace. 4
S – Pepper, peach, coriander, thyme (do they add these spices or does their yeast do all the work?) 4.75
T – Pepper & peach but very muted compared to the aroma, just some slight candy sweetness, herbal and piney bitterness. A nice spiciness that lasts into the finish. 4.25
MF – Medium body, semi-dry finish (definitely some sweetness in the finish), some creaminess balances the bitterness. 4.25

Enjoyed on tap. Poured into a tulip glass.
Beautiful copper color with a white head and lots of lacing.
Awesome aroma -- lots of tropical fruit backed by the yeasty Belgian funk.
This beer tastes phenomenal. Lots of sweet peach and a hint of mango up front followed by the fruit, spice and funk of the Belgian yeast. Some great flavors from the Mosaic hops balanced nicely by the yeast and malt.
Mouthfeel is medium and nicely carbonated.
Overall, just a wonderful beer. The sweetness hit my palate first followed by a slight drying and bitterness that made me want to go back for more. Really good.
