Poured from a 12oz bottle into a Mason Jar showed off a honey colored brew with a nice 2 finger white head, good lace as you drink down while the head fades. Aroma for me was the weak point on this one as nothing special came through, a nice APA aroma for sure but no "Lemon Drop" to be had although some citrus did peek out on the second bottle I tasted. On to taste for this one which was very nice indeed, based on a solid APA and with some nice citrus notes makes for a great drinking beer that has flavor and drinkability, not a whole lot of depth of flavor to talk about just a good beer. Mouthfeel was light to medium with a very dry finish and almost a lemon pucker at times, overall this is a great APA as far as I'm concerned and would pick it up again for sure.
* Update- I talked to a person from Zipline and the name comes from the single hop used in their single hop series of beer...Lemondrop Hops.

Pours golden cooper and hazy. Big two finger head that persists. Smell is underwhelming and subdued for a pale ale. Taste is clean malt supported by juicy, soft American hop flavor. Slight sweetness on the back end of the palate. Overall, this is a good American pale ale with interesting hop flavors.

Look - Light orange solid color. Two finger white head. Settles quickly without any evidence of carbonation after about 2 minutes.
Smell - Heavy malt, Citra hops obvious. Mostly lemon, slightly artificial like lemon pledge. Some spice, nothing identifiable.
Taste - Despite the lemon pledge smell, this is definitely not an artificial lemon flavor. Hops is the dominating flavor, but one can clearly tell these are Citra hops. A deeper sweet flavor, like powdered sugar lays below the hops. If this beer was all heart notes I would enjoy it a lot more, but the initial lemon and the base hops flavor distort what could be an amazing beer.
Overall - This is an IPA that has as much citrus flavor any other thing advertised as "lemon" / "citrus" beer. Drink this outside at a picnic, but don't serve this to beer aficionados. It's alright and it's obvious to see how it could be much better.

Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, fizzy white head of foam. It smelled of citrus and floral notes. Sweet citrus notes up front with a sweet caramel & toffee backbone.

Smell is sweet malt, breadiness, and light citrus. Taste is lemonade-like flavor, light tropical flavors, some spiciness or pepperiness, and a big malt backbone. Okay, but not close to my favorite Zipline offering. In all fairness, I've probably held on to this for too long (although it's been in cold storage). I'll re-review and try it again the next time it's released.

Sampled back on 3/3/16. Comes in a 12-ounce bottle. Bottle chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured in to a "It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere" pint glass.
Brew pours a hazy orange-amber in color with a good 3-4 finger foamy/creamy head that left a good amount of lacing when sipped. Aroma is of lemon zest, pine and hops. Pretty much could be said also for the taste. Does have a slightly 'hoppy' finish as would be expected BUT didn't linger. Slightly dry finish also . Lighter-side of medium bodied with decent carbonation. Overall a decent brew.

Appearance.
Body : Sure lives up to its namesake, very lemony, almost herbal cough drop color. 60% opaque.
Head : Very large, thick like shaving cream, and leaves nice thick lacing.
Smell.
Initial : Lots of pine, some lemon pith and a good malt backing. Very faint onion but kept in check which is fabulous news.
With Agitation : More onion and lemon.
Taste.
At the front : Wow. Very nice explosion of Citra hops, balanced by a calm malt presence.
In the back : It starts to fade to a more calm mineral water and light green onion on the finish. It does start to get boring and lose the wow factor after a few sips.
Feel.
A touch pasty for my liking, but still refreshing and carbonated leaving bits of creaminess on the finale.
Overall, Lemondrop is an IPA I'd recommend for friends that are looking for something refreshing, different, and only mildly bitter. I enjoyed it, and you probably will too.
