Pours ruby color. Looks great. Taste floral with a sweet tartness to it. Great seasonal for a hot day of yard work

Zipline's Hibiscus Saison pours a beautiful pink blush with a rapdily diminishing bubble gum pink head of 3 fingers. 1/2 finger remains after a few minutes' time.

Wonderful aromas of rose pedal, hibiscus flowers, damp potted dirt, with some trailing ethanol and phenol-like aromas in the form of lemon lime and sparkling water.

....then it all falls apart. Insane rush of bitter saline Club Soda, with a finish of residual swallowed raspberry pop rocks and a bready hay finish with truckloads of stale bitterness.

The feel is mildly creamy but refreshing and carbonated with tons of zing. Painful stinging at the end.

Overall, this one seemed like a winner until it touched my lips. Blahhhh. If this tasted half as good as it smelled and looked, I'd be going back for more. Unfortunately that is not the case. I've been hosed, Tommy.

Beautiful looking beer. Light pink color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled floral with tropical notes. Tasted fairly tart but it faded quickly. Didn't get much saison-qualities.

Pours straight pink. More flowery than saison

no love for this one huh? surprising, maybe the market isnt ready for it yet, because i was pretty darn impressed. its got a beautiful pink color with a little haze, looks nice and thick and frothy. it smells less perfume dominated than many other beers with this hard to use ingredient, but has a very distinctive aroma with the flower and the yeast, which is frenchy, tangy a little, but quite clean comparatively speaking. the flavor is awesome, the hibiscus is forward but in balance, there is a juicy hop here, a fuller bodied and very fresh wheat malt, and the yeast which has a white wine element to it, fruity and floral and a little acidic. its awesome for summer, low in alcohol but not in body, and real quick in the finish. not the most manly thing to hold in a globe and sip on, but its exceptional beer. they also had a cask version of this that was in a chardonnay barrel with raspberries, choke cherries, and salt with champagne yeast, and that was one of the best cask beers i have ever had, added something entirely amazing to this, but the base beer itself is a delicious and flavorful easy drinker for summer. these guys impressed me top to bottom.
