Hoppy, Fruity, Juicy, Tropical

Pale yellow, a bit unfiltered, with a clingy lace, Zipline’s IPA entices with tropical fruit, pine, mint, herbal, floral and some dankish aromas. Smooth with a nice chewiness that segues into a juicy mouthful of citrusy and fruity flavors: grapefruit, tangerine and a distinct mango fleshiness along with a leafy hoppiness. This is some straight up hoppy deliciousness here.

As reviewed in BeerAdvocate magazine #112 (May 2016).

SUPER SUPER great IPA. No Malt backbone. Smooth smooth smooth. No Pine. Reminds me of a less orange flavored Julius or PseudoSue. Two of the best out there, IMO> Ever since they changed the Hops and modernized this IPA, I am impressed. If you are ever coming through Nebraska, make a stop here. This brewery hits it 90% of the time.
Good stuff.

Drinking a 12-ounce bottle right now on 7/15/16. Bottle chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured into a "White Tail Pale Ale" pint glass. Pours a hazy golden yellow in color with a good 1-2 finger mostly creamy whitish head. Aroma is of citrus and pine with some floral. Taste pretty much follows the nose, Actually pretty smooth and I am not a big IPA guy though I have been coming around to liking them. Medium-bodied with perfect carbonation. Overall a really good local Nebraska brew!

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a Shaker pint glass, there is no "best by" date that I can find.

APPEARANCE: pours a lovely hazy, golden, straw color with larger bits floating about, one-finger white head that slowly dissipated until a thin, unbroken layer of small bubbles remained, heavy lacing and medium carbonation.

SMELL: bread, citrus, pine and an earthy hop profile.

TASTE: the taste follows the nose, initially bread and then grapefruit citrus, mango, pine and an earthy note on the finish.

PALATE: medium body and carbonation.

OVERALL: this is an outstanding beer, I love that it's unfiltered and raw, I love the earthy hop profile, this is one of the best IPA's ever, I will buy this again and will recommend to everyone I know.

Damn! This IPA rocks. I liked the NZ IPA, but I'm very happy this has become their year round IPA. Strong Citrus, very juicy and an easy drinker. SOLID.

Wow my trip to Lincoln has been surprising this brewery is wonderful reminds me of a NE Juice bomb
Not going to do a full review but. This is juicy fruity hoppy and one of the most surprisingly good IPAs I've ever had

Outstanding. Non-filtered which makes it all the more interesting. Perfect pour with 3/4 inch of head. Citrus, pine, grapefruit notes with a very clean finish. I will buy more of this and if I can find the brewery's other beers, those as well. They are supposed to have a rye IPA that I need to sample.

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a good-sized, off-white head of foam. It smelled of citrus, pineapple and toasted caramel. Nice tropical and citrus fruit taste with a toasty, malty backbone.

I am a grumpy old fart and I don't buy into the hype/rare!
If it's great I'll rate it as such and if it's empty hype I'll do the same.

A - has a typical unfiltered ipa appearance, amber with a white head.
S - smells great! Stone fruits, apricot, mango, generic citrus, and maybe a little pine in the background but predominantly fruits! If I REALLY nitpick, the smell is awesome... but it could be "stronger". Some fresh smelling ipa's hit you from across the room. As amazing as this smells ya gotta get your nose down in it.
MF- perfect for the style, perfect carb, crisp, and dry enough on the back but PLENTY of lingering flavor!
T- this is where this beer really pulls ahead of any competition. I reviewed the "everything rhymes with orange" and it smelled great but couldn't deliver in the taste dept. This beer deliveres in spades! And as much as an ipa can be "complex" this beer delivers the mango, apricot, Danky Dankerson, pine resin and a WHISPER of malt to round out the back end!!
Overall - this is dangerous! This is the beer that if you have it in your fridge, ... you're gonna drink it... and hide it from your friends! In all seriousness this is one of the very best (if not THE best) ipa that I have ever had. Trust me, I've had a LOT.
Not from Nebraska, I'm not a "homer" and I have no reason to tell you anything but the truth!! If you like BRIGHT, CRISP, juicy ipa's that deliver DIPA flavor in a 6% package... look no further, these guys nailed it!!

12oz bottle poured into a snifter; just under 4 weeks old

Look: Dark yellow-orange, with a one finger off yellow head. No lacing present, and quite clear in appearance.

Smell: Slightly Fruity with a hint of pine

Taste: Citrus and tropical fruits at first (Orange, pineapple) followed by a breadyness and a mildly bitter/piney finish.

Feel: Excellent heavy mouthfeel. Almost a chewiness with great carbonation.

Overall: I'm spoiled by the New England IPAs I get to drink on a regular basis, but I thought this was a great change of pace. It was very well balanced with the tropical/bitter flavor profiles playing off each other nicely. It reminds me quite a bit of Pseudo Sue, but with a bigger mouthfeel and more restrained hop flavors.

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a hazy orange color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of grapefruit, passion fruit, mango. Taste is the same as the aroma, juicy, light pine, pretty damn tasty. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a beer worth trying.

Pours a hazy dark yellow color. More
Malty than hoppy but light citrus hops and bready and fruity malts. Medium body and moderate carbonation.

An ok beer but not too hoppy.

Slightly hazy, light yellow body; thick, stick, rocky, white head. Spicy, fruity aroma; citrus and pine resin. Big hop bitterness up front and lasting through the finish; heavy, fruity sweetness with some citrus tartness. Heavy body; resinous, thick and chewy; juicy with a dry edge at the finish.

There is no dating on the bottle, so perhaps this sample may have a bit of age on it. The aroma was okay but nothing special, but the overall taste was pretty top notch.
