Poured on-tap at Trophy and served in a stemmed pint, the beer is an opaque, pale, yellow coloring with a filmy, white halo of head. Nose of lemon tart and candy, with hints of a toasted backbone, but very clean overall. Flavors are very effervesced and fruity, with citrus and peach forward notes. Tart throughout, with a solid ginger spicing. Smooth and light, with a tart and sweet aftertaste and a very clean finish. Very light and refreshing. Would be a great warm weather beer.

look: 4 | smell: 4.5 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 4 | overall: 4.25

Appearance: Arrives with a cloudy goldenstraw color and a very modest head; a few dribbles of lace

Smell: Lemon, peach and ginger

Taste: Lemon, peach and ginger flavors build nicely to a tart finish; a hint of sweetness from the fruit

Mouthfeel: Light body with moderate carbonation

Overall: A like a fruity, tart Berliner and this one hits those buttons

Poured a cloudy yellow with one finger head and constant lace patches. A sour aroma is how I would describe it, although there are bits of citric tartness and a touch of sweetness. Light, mostly tart with the ginger giving it a little sweetness as well as crispness, especially in the finish. Not a bad beer but not much going on and the ginger throws off the balance as it is the dominant presence.
