Poured into tulip glass. Lovely dark, thick brown. Fizzy head fades away.

Nose of mostly cooled roasted malt.

Taste is rich in chocolate, caramel, bran, raisin. A good nutty mix.

Mouth is great. Really smooth.

A rich beer that isn't demanding. Nice and savory. Lots of delightful chocolate and not over on ABV.

Nose of caramel malt, bready, brow sugar, faint nuttiness, soured fruit. Taste slightly sweet malt, caramel, strange vinous flavor.

Jubliate Dark Lager pours a beautiful ruby brown with a tan head. Nutty malt and a slight hint of dark dried fruit provide the nose . On the palate clean nutty malt tastes combine with kettle sugars and light roast flavors from the dark malts. There are just enough hops to keep it interesting.

.5L bottle
Pours clear with a mahogany brown body and a fine looking head that has poor retention.

Attractive, relatively complex aroma; mainly malty with hints of raisins faint hops. The flavor follows, but seems less complex and fruity.

Feel: very smooth with excellent carbonation and a slightly buttery finish.

O: excellent for style and good with food.

Appearance - murky brown body with khaki head

Smell - peanut shell, caramel, whole grains

Taste - caramel, nuts, bran, whole wheat bread

Mouthfeel - medium body, medium carbonation, slightest of sweetness, flavors are strong enough to not disappoint

Overall - this was a good version of a Munich Dunkel Lager

Price Point - $3.99/ 500ML bottle

500ml bottle poured into pint glass.

A - A cloudy dark brown with a thin head that lasted for less than a minute.

S - Not pleasant. Rancid grapes and other dark fruit. Not a wine fan and this is what it reminded me of. A bit of hop action.

T - Very disappointed. Tasted a lot of the wine aspects mentioned earlier. Was sour and dank. Did not like.

F - Ok. Nothing special, nothing bad. Very little carbonation but was crisp in a good way.

O - Was a drain pourer. Didn't improve as temperature rose. Overall, simply didn't like the sourness. Tasted as much like wine to me as beer. Not sure if this is normal for an organic beer. Either way, will not purchase again.
