Lovely fruity/floral aroma, taste has grapefruit, orange, lemon grass, and lots of hop goodness. Finishes nice with just a slight twain. Body is spot on. 515 doesn't disappoint.

L: Nice cloudy golden color with tight white head
S: A bit subdued for the style, but some nice tropical fruit notes
T: Tropical fruit, resin, quite bitter, though it doesn't linger. Finishes clean.
F: Nice medium body, medium-to-low carbonation, though somehow still pretty crisp
O: One of the top DIPAs in the Midwest. Very easy to drink for 9%.

Looks very similar in the glass to King Sue… Almost looks like a Mimosa.... The Mosaic and Citra really shine through on this one!!

Had this Double IPA by 515 at GNBF 2014 in a taster glass, make that 6 or 7 tasters...

Appearance - Amazing golden color with a rich creamy head.

Smell - Very nice, very similar to the taste.

Taste - Super flavorful. Big Tropical Fruit notes with a crisp hop finish. For a 9% beer not boozy at all. Dangerously drinkable.

Mouthfeel - low carbonation, refreshing, very smooth, rich fruit profile.

Overall - One of the best Double IPA's in the Midwest. If you are ever on Interstate 80 do yourself a favor. This beer is magical.

Had this on tap at El Bait Shop in a snifter on 1/21/17.

A: Pours a super hazy, opaque, light-pale orange in color with a 1/2 inch foamy, paper white head with minimal retention. Thick, billowy white lacing throughout.

S: Aromas of citrus and tropical fruits accompanied by very mild notes of piney hops. Orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, and guava to name a few.

T: Straight juice bomb. Huge notes of grapefruit, orange, and tangerine up front followed by sweeter notes of pineapple, mango, papaya, and guava. Finishes with a nice lingering piney, resinous hop bitterness.

F: Medium bodied. Juicy. Smooth. Light to medium carbonation.

O: Overall, this is an awesome juicy DIPA. Fruitiness and hop notes are well balanced. Very drinkable and the ABV is hidden very well. Loved this one and would love to try it fresh from the source.
