Fabrica Maravillas is an American-style brewpub in the heart of Barrio de Malasana. Small but oh-so-cool, with a club-like feel, modern decor and chill electronic music.
Tanks behind the bar, some tables and a bar. Very little room, and it can get a bit crowded (Madrilenos are hungry for craft beer!) but not annoyingly so.
Beers are served in cana, 1/2 pint and imperial pint sizes, ranging from 2.10 euros (cana) to 5.50 (50 cl pint).
Not a lot of choices on tap but all good, including a very fresh 7% IPA called Fl(ipa), a fresh-hop version of it called Fl(ipa) Hop Rocket, a Belgian-style dubbel (2D) and a hoppy ale (Malasana ale).
I particularly loved the Hop Rocket, resiny-oily hoppy fresh.
Other beers they brew but were not available during my visit are Cabrona quadrupel, Saison Valverde, Triple Maravillas and an Imperial Stout.
Service is attentive enough, and at least one of the employees/brewers here is of English origin. Lots of foreigners among the guests as well.

Visited on weeknight. Half full, loud music dominated the vibe. Five beers on offer. Not a good sign when Madrí Excepcional - a guest beer - topped the draft board. Marzen (served in April, mind you) lacked body. IPA lacked.. a lot. Not worth the trip.

My wife and I visited Fábrica Maravillas while exploring Madrid a few days ago. They had 6 taps when we visited, although only 2 of them were Fábrica Maravillas beers: a session IPA and an APA. The other taps were also Spanish craft beers: a gose, export stout, NEIPA, and kellerbier. So, an interesting selection, even if just two were their own beers. Both the Maravillas beers were pretty good, if not necessarily outstanding.
The taproom is pretty tiny, seating maybe 20 max, but really only like 12 practically. The old whitewashed brick walls and lots of wood accents make the place light and bright.. The brewhouse is right behind the bar, which I always like to see.
Service is quick but not especially personable; the bartender wore her headphones most of the time. She did speak English as well as Spanish, though, so that was convenient.

Vibe was pretty low key relative to everywhere else we went in Madrid. Lacked some energy. Quality was good, although the Wit was a bit hoppier than expected. IPA was a subtle version of the style. Service was puzzling: our bartender (we were sitting at the bar) was really interactive for his second day on the job, but he and his colleague would disappear for many minutes at a time as potential customers came and went. Selection was mainly Belgian, with the obligatory IPA included. We were happy to walk out having bought the beer sampler kit - 2 small glasses and 3 bombers.

A-This small, American-style craft-brew taproom is located in central Madrid, not too far from the tourist hubbub of the Puerta del Sol. It is on a quieter side street, but when I visited on a Sunday afternoon in late May, the place was busy with mostly locals enjoying a sunny day and an afternoon cerveza. The decor is modern and sparse, and the place is not very big by American standards...maybe table space for a dozen and a bar that sat 8 people up front and brewing equipment in back. It was really comfortable inside.
Q-I tried three of the five beers on tap. None of them were earth-rocking, but the session IPA was actually one of the better examples of that style of style that I have tried. Nice flavor, with a solid amount of body. The English Pale was merely average and the regular IPA was also just OK (but better than most in Spain).
Ser-The bar staff was friendly and they put up with my broken Spanish. I even managed to chat with one of the brewers about his session IPA and the English Pale while his kids played futbol among the guests. Pours were good and prompt.
Sel-For a gringo like me that is used to seeing 10-12 taps (or more) at a brewery, five taps is a little low. However, for a Spanish craft brewer in Madrid, five craft offerings of varying styles (they even had a stout on) is a nice selection.
O-Don't come here expecting world beating brews or amazing tapas, but I really enjoyed my two pints and a taster at Fabrica Maravillas. It is a nice Spanish take on the American craft brewery taproom.

This place is good if you are walking around Madrid, and have the craving for a good beer, too bad that they do not even sell tapas at this brewery, overall the day I went they only had 4 of their own beers on tap and they were all acceptable and very drinkable, my favorite was the Malasana, I was expecting a better selection and better food service, since this is Spain home of culinary Michelin Stars

Great surprise for Spain. Small scale brewery on a quiet side street in a hip neighborhood in Madrid. They brew one beer at a time. Knowledgeable bartender who spoke good English. They also have the Dogfish hop infuser for their pale ale, super yummy. You also get tasty olives and peanuts with a beer. They have a few tables and about 10 bar stools. Patrons put coins in cracks or crevices on the old exposed brick wallinside. FYI, they close at midnight during the week later on the weekend.

Very nice place to stop by and enjoy a good beer, One of the few places in Madrid where the brewery is inside the bar offering 6-8 different beers and not all of them available all the time. In general, cool atmosphera and really good beer.
