Home of the infamous shelf Fou' Founeā€¦

Recently revamped to keep up with nearby stores like Mariano's that have an extended beer, wine, and spirits selection, this Walgreens is probably the best in town as far as selection goes (disclaimer: haven't been in the new WP or Mag Mile store yet). This is largely due to the specialized beer guy here that has created a handpicked high-quality selection, despite the anomaly of being located in a pharmacy store.

Beer is straight back and to the right, past the checkout maze. About 5 cooler doors and 5-6 shelves hidden on one side of a center aisle perpendicular to the coolers. Limited space, though there's just over 100 beers. Highlights such as 50/50 Eclipse, Victory Red Thunder, Ten Fidy, Deviant Dales (from 8/12 unfortunately), Bells Smitten, Two Bros Bare Tree, Imperial Biscotti Break, Dark Horse stout series, Espresso & Oak Aged Yeti, O'so Hop Whoopin, and many more.

Overall an unexpectedly good selection here, probably the best in Greektown/West Loop, an area that's "beer store challenged". Worth a look if you're making a trip to Haymarket or nearby restaurant row.
