Poured from a can into my oversized brandy snifter. A reasonable pour gets a reasonable inch of light beige head, thick and foamy. Body is deep golden in color, almost honey like. Nose is full of resiny citrus hops and soft sweet malt notes the intertwine very well. The first sip brings juicy hops almost like bitting into a piece of mandarin orange. The malts give a just right kind of feel to the backbone and slight sweetness to this brew. I just can't get over how juicy this beer is. Off the charts drinkability and mouthfeel. Truely lovely.

This can may have some age on it, so scored accordingly.
Appearance: Cloudy copper poured into pint glass from can. Hint of lace.
Aroma: Orange, pine (muted hops?), some more citrus. Decent.
Taste: Sharp with citrus and orange hoppiness, and a dank twang. Solid, and likely a superlative brew when enjoyed fresh.

Hazy peach color with white head. Aroma is mostly hoppy with citrus notes and overripe oranges. Taste is quite juicy with nice citrus and tropical fruits. Light bitterness on the finish. Medium body with lower carbonation. Overall it's quite nice, juicy pale ale.

Interesting. I'd call it a strong pale ale, or just a rye beer. The crystal malt is upfront and the rye blends into it before the citrus hops kick in. There's a subtle spice in the aroma, while the flavor has a sweet and bitter balance. Despite the malt flavors, it's not too thick. Overall, a fun beer. Give it shot if you can.

Nice Pale Ale with a bit of a tame complexion but excellent flavor. Barley grain, lemon, lime, grapefruit, tea leaves and light pine. Drinks dry but crisp with almost no bitterness.

A big thanks to the founding father of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a a dark golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of hops, citrus, malts. Taste is well balanced malts and hops, citrus, some hints of mint. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a solid beer.

12 ounce bottle into a tulip glass.
Pours a mostly clear golden color, with an easy two finger head, some foamy cling. Smell is a bit perfume like, the hop aroma is very different. Herbal, some citrus, a very fragrant orange, light malt, yeast, some rye, some caramel. Taste gives more citrus than the nose- strong, fragrant orange hops, light malt, yeast, a little rye. A soft bitterness throughout. Dry, refreshing, well carbonated.
not my favorite style, but this is very good. Loaded with flavor, enjoyable to drink. Worth a purchase.
