A: The beer is clear but very dark brownish red in color. It poured with just q thi white collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of sweet caramel are present in the nose along with hints of dark fruits.
T: Just like the smell, the taste has flavors of dark fruits along with caramel malts and some associated sweetness.
M: It feels medium- to full-bodied and a little sticky on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer definitely tastes strong, but does a good job of hiding its alcohol from the taste.

Thanks to brogen13 (Reddit) for this one, and shared with rudzud.

Pours a decent fizzy 1/2 finger head that fades at a med pace, decent lacing long legs, dark iced tea murky brown color.

Nose is mixed, a weird vegetal ketchup thing, brown reddish toasted malt, earthy herbal spicy hops, big sweet syrupy malts yet tangy, reddish candy bbq sauce.

Taste brings sweet candy malts, very candy like, reddish candy apple, caramel, toffee, syrupy and a bit messy. Big herbs earthy hops, little spicy, little vegetal, little messy ketchup bbq sauce, very bitter slight briny salty hop, weird prune like fruit, fair bitterness, earthy vegetal. Finish briny earthy vegetal hops lingering, sweet sticky syrupy malts, candy like, hint booze.

Mouth is heavier syrupy, sweet candy, sticky, mild booze warmth, decent carb.

Overall eh, not my style of barleywine.

Thanks to JLindros for sharing.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice dark garnet hue with a thin head that fades to leave a thin halo and light wisps.

S - Aromas of caramel, toffee, light cardboard, faint spicy hops. Little bit of bread. Decent nose.

T - Taste is similar to the the nose, nice gooey caramel, little toffee, light spicy hops. Alcohol is hidden nicely, little fruity too.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, bit sticky, little vegetative.

O - Overall this beer was decent, nice caramel and light hops. Decent.

Appearance - The beer was served in a snifter and appeared murky brown.

Smell - The smell resembled sweet barley notes typical of the style. Earthy hop notes were also present.

Taste - My initial impression was sweet cereal grains before the grassy hops take over in the back. What strikes me is the balance between the sweetness and the hops. The hops lean more bitter in the aftertaste.

Mouthfeel - Thick and chewy would be a nice way to describe this barleywine.

Overall - At the very least, this is on par with behemoth. In reality, it is probably better. Oh, a barrel aged version would be great.
