A - Black body, opaque, with red-brown highlights, and a full, billowing tan head, and lots of lacing.
S - Hops. Big pine and acidity. A hint of coffee and dark bread.
T - A citrus line, with pine, a middle in molasses and toast, coffee acidity, and a close of distinct bitterness, pith and zest.
M - Pretty full body, a definite drying in the close.
O - A fine example of the style, melding nicely the hop forward front with a lush porter-like malt core. Very nice.
