Visited this spot on a recent visit to San Diego. First beers of the day were here. Easy to find with signage out front of the tasting room. This location also houses the brewing equipment.
Walking in a large open door from street, some standing area is in front and the counter is about halfway in from the door. Bathroom off to the left.
Large board with all beers available on the wall to the left upon entering. About 12 beer choices available, several IPAs, an export stout, a strong ale and a pale ale, plus a hard seltzer on the list. I went with the export stout for my drafts during the visit. Very nice and roasty, see review below.
Staff was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable about the beers too. Gave a sample of a beer if desired before committing to a full pour. Can also do half pours of most beers.
Up a short ramp to the outdoor drinking area/patio. More hightop tables are located here. All brewery equipment is visible, no brewing was occurring during our visit. A second bathroom is out here and there was a food truck slinging tacos during this stop.
Nice place for a few beers easy going atmosphere and pretty solid beers. Great stop if in San Diego!

Great location and good beer. Scenically located in beautiful Solana Beach (and its Design District). Beer is good but suspect the attraction is slightly more about location than beer (which isn't necessarily a bad thing)

Cool little tasting room on the main drag of Solana Beach. Large open entry to the sidewalk in small tap room with a few barrel tables and a service bar against the back wall. Out back there is a small patio with a couple of picnic amd barrel tables. The place has a very spacious outdoorsy feel. A dozen or so beers on tap, I had the Pine IPA and it was excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable bartender. Cool little stop to grab a quick one.

Vibe - Cool. The place has that trendy industrial look. Cedros Avenue is a very hip part of town. A big negative, however, is the lack of seating.
Quality - Clean. Good beer.
Service - Friendly.
Selection - A nice selection of house beers but no guest beers.
Overall - Neat place. Again, the lack of seating is an issue. Also, the whole "low gluten" trend is just so silly.

This brewery is in a great location near the Del Mar race track. The beer is very good but they don't serve food.

tasters are $1.25 for all of their 7 beers. all beers are 5 or 6 ABV, very light. also, 7 beers is a very small selection - two stouts, two IPA's, a saison, a hafe, and a brown.
Overall, the beer tasted very freah, and the take on the aryle was unique. not a bad spot, although the tasting room is tiny.

Second stop with MYWIFE! on our Anniversary Brew Tour. Culture is located in the Cedros Avenue Design District and in close proximity of some fun little shops and eateries. Pizza Port is across the street too.
A: Small little spot along the street frontage. Entire front was open to the street and tall ceilings gave very airy vibe. Dark wood paneling added warmth and the steel fermenters, glass, cmu block and simple design gave a modern feel. A few trendy barrels for setting your drinks on and a bar height table for perching adjacent to the streetscape and taking in the morning sun. A few people inside chatting and felt friendly.
Q&S: Trendy giant chalk board was filled with 10 taps (in house) and not only listed style / ABV but also IBU / Hop. Beers covered the flagship spectrum (blonde / amber / heff / pale / ipa). A few interesting beers - Black IPA / Nitro Black Currant / Mint Stout. Nothing was outstanding but all were drinkable. Great for the average joe. The Black IPA was solid.
S: Bartender was very friendly, chatty, and volunteered to snap a couple pix of us. She had good knowledge of the beers too. Some local guy was there and made his way over to chat us up too.
V: Typical prices - good sized pours in nice tulip glasses.
Bonus: Besides growlers they also have "beer pouches" which seemed innovative. Good for the sneaky drink on the beach scene.
Overall: Descent Nanobrew shop. Would come here again if was in the neighborhood.

Another inexplicable new brewery in San Diego County. I liked the beer board, which provided not only beer name, ABV, and style, but also the hops used. No fancy names, just Brown, IPA, Imperial Stout, Pale Ale, etc. Beers tasted on my couple of visits have all been quite well made and drinkable. No surprises, fruits and nuts, or Belgian influences so far. About five beers on tap.
The atmosphere is on the one hand non-existent, in this extremely spare space. No art, no chairs. On the other hand, the barmaids are jolly, people are standing all over inside and out like a cocktail party. No food, but some free tiny pretzels. Outdoor are in the back is spartan but the marine air is cool and moist, and the brightest place is the discretely roped-off brewery with the garage door rolled up for display. You can read the bags of malt to see what's brewing.
Location is a storefront on chichi Cedros Ave in Solana Beach just south of the train station and east of the tracks from Pacific HIghway. Worth a visit just to wander Cedros, the most upscale beach town street this side of Laguna. A good field trip with the significant other who likes shopping. Not much parking but you can get a good view of trains passing from the alley behind the joint.
