Growler from the North location.
Appearance: Bright golden glass shows some haze. Second day off the growler the head has died back a bit but is white and laces.
Aroma: West coast citric hops with a candy sweet base supporting the acids.
Taste: Bitter wins out but not by much. Lots of hop flavors, some leafy, some citric, bit of pine, all of it fresh and tasty. The bitter intensity is low enough the malt base doesn't have to be too chewy so this come across as a light and drinkable IPA edging into a hoppy APA. It doesn't go the session IPA route of shorting the base so there is no dryness in the finish making it much more satisfying.
Mouthfeel: Medium to medium heavy body, bit oily with a small chew. Carbonation is a bit low, but again, second day on a growler. Would put it medium on the first half yesterday.
Overall: Yum. Solid IPA, no flaws, nice west coast profile with citric highlights, and enough malt to carry the day. Complimented their awesome pizza well.

Clear golden pour with a dense white one-finger head. Big piney hop aroma. Taste has pine and grapefruit flavor upfront for a big bitter initial taste. Can also taste a bit of biscuit in the back end. Medium bodied. Finishes with a good lingering pine bitterness.

pleasantly hopped american ipa looking westward for inspiration. a little mango, a bit of sweet lemon, and light, biscuity malt on the nose of this golden brew. clean, bitter finish and medium- full body keeps me interested. bittering hops definitely lunger on the palate. 6.5% abv.
