Extra quarter point for terrific smell. Unfortunately, beer tastes like a session. Not picking up much rye.

Reviewed 3-28-15. Water goblet. Canned date 2-2-15.

Appearance: Pours a deep, clear gold with 1 finger off-white head, with little slow carbonation. Nice lacing. Retains a ring of white along edges.

Aroma: Whoa! Fruity - grapefruit, kiwi, sweet, citrus.

Taste: Dry, light arrival. Rye spice & hop bitterness on mid-palate. Light, clean finish with lingering rye spice (like rye bread). Not malty in the least.

Mouthfeel: Light, moderate carbonation, slightly astringent.

Overall: I really like this! Light, fresh & springy. The aroma is fantastic. This would be a great spring/summer regular. I'd still pick a pilsner over this 10/10 times, but this is good. The rye is less noticeable as it goes on. Overall, a light, dry, crisp, extremely pale ale. Very sessionable.

I can't drink enough of this beer. It is outrageously refreshing, and it tastes exactly how the can looks. I'm not even kidding. Stare closely at an ice-cold can, appreciate the palate of colors, and imagine how the beer might taste. Bam- you've got it. That is exactly how it tastes.

It's not as hoppy as the average IPA, but has an absolutely delicious earthy bitterness and is basically the taste of spring embodied. The rye definitely gives a very nice spicy character to it. I can't recommend this highly enough.

Also, I love seeing quality beer in cans. Cans are just so convenient and the contents taste just as good as bottles.

Nice rye bite on this one. But the flavor does not last or linger. A lot of it could stand to stick around longer. Still a nice beer though.

I didn't get much of the rye in this. The hops is not terribly strong. These two attributes make for a lighter, crispier ale. It is very enjoyable but surprising considering the rye piece of it.
