Had this beer on tap at the brewery poured into a tulip glass. Old school double IPA. Pours a golden yellow color with nice white head and curtain lacing. Very citrus smell and taste. Orange and lime flavors with some malty vanilla notes. Nice piney bitterness for its finish. Good beer!

Pours a nice orangeish color, slightly hazy and thick head. Has a pleasant citrus aroma that's not too strong. Has an excellent malty character and citrus taste. Not too hoppy and smooth. Overall a unique blend of malts and hops.
Twelve ounce can dated 03/31/2021. Thanks to JZeilinger for sharing.

Poured into a 13 oz Teku glass canned on 3/31/21. Pours a slightly cloudy dark orange with a 2 finger sticky white head that leaves thin streaks of lace with excellent retention. 4.25

Aroma is tangerine, papaya, mango, apricot, and grapefruit rind. 4.25

Taste follows tangerine, papaya, mango, apricot, and grapefruit really well balanced. 4.25

Mouthfeel is pretty big, plenty of carbonation but fairly creamy, slightly sticky but not dry, and at 9.5% ABV really easy going down. 4.5

Overall this is a really nice DIPA, East meets West tropical with some bitterness, really nice. Thanks jzeilinger for this one. 4.25

Not an overwhelmingly bitter IPA. In fact, probably one of the silky smoothest you’ll try.

12oz canned 1/11/19 (1 month ago) poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass at fridge temp 9.5% ABV. The beer pours bright honey colored amber with sticky off white head. The head recedes slowly to a cap and leaves plenty of spotty lacing. The aroma is candied orange, tangerine, grapefruit and lemon. The taste is semisweet caramel with a firm hop bitterness and a vague citrus and piney flavor. A little alcohol is present in the taste. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, adequately carbonated and somewhat dry in the finish. There is a decent stickiness to this beer that is to be expected in a DIPA. Overall, very good.

Edit: I drank my second can a day later and it was definitely better. The can that I originally reviewed was not quite down to fridge temp and it had a few rough edges. Scores were updated.

12oz can served in a tulip. Canned 05/17/18.

Pours hazy amber with a big head and moderate carbonation. Smell is citra and resin.

Taste is fruity and bittersweet. Boozy.

Mouthfeel is thick -- maybe even luscious. Overall, very nice beer.

I tried this at the brewery. It poured a clear golden with white head that left a nice lace. The scent had citrus peel notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with citrus presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it was a excellent beer.

Pours a golden sttaw with a thin, creamy, white head. Lots of lacing.
Great, candied citrus smell with melon, pineapple, citrus.
Taste follows nose with awesome malt balance. Slight spice, not overly dank.
This is an incredibly smooth character. One of the best beers i have had in a while!
