This was a solid, enjoyable IPA. Nothing really stood out either positively or negatively, for what it's worth. A good option when out in a bar, but not worth seeking out.

32 ounce growler. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a mostly clear dark gold color with some orange tints and about an inch and a half off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. The aroma is nice, the brew smells mostly like floral and citrusy (orange peel, grapefruit) hops, and some bready malt. It tastes like floral/herbal hops, citrusy (grapefruit, mango, citrus peel) hops, and some caramel and bready malt. There's also a nice bitter hoppy finish. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit slick with moderate carbonation. I think it's a good IPA, I wouldn't mind picking this up again. Worth trying for sure!

Pours a brilliant golden light copper color with a frothy one inch ivory head that leaves thick lacing as it dissipates.

Slightly sweet, grainy malt, resin, dank cannabis, and underpinnings of citrus form the initial aroma. Onion and pine surface late, adding complexity.

Flavor reveals more citrus dominance, becoming moderately bitter mid palate, and finishing fairly dry. Grapefruit, lime, and resin hit early in the profile, with grassy, earthy notes carrying into the finish. Notes of mango are slight. The malt backbone is extremely subtle and slightly grainy.

Body is moderate, carbonation a tad high, along with moderate astringency and slight alcohol warmth.

Good levels of hop flavoring and bitterness, but wish the malt were less grainy. More specialty malt would help. Hop citrus character could stand a touch more complexity.

Clear gold with a white frothy head.

Smell is butter, grassy grapefruit, tangerine, and hay.

Taste is bitter. Gasoline and grass, vegetal smarties with cracker.

A more recent can was more dank and lemony and improved but I can't upgrade rating yet, because the first time I had this was from a MadTree booth--why would they bring old IPA for the masses?

Can from Peter. THANKS DUDE! Pours light copper orange, mostly clear and ever so slightly hazy, with a half finger white head. Aroma of bitter piney orange rinds, flowery notes, with sweet caramel in the back. Flavor is bright bitter orange peel with a rather present caramel malt backbone for a single IPA. Sweet orange peel finish that lingers with dry pine bitterness. Resinous, with medium carbonation. A nice brew all in all.
