On tap in a plastic cup at The Boathouse Tiki Bar and Grille.
Mostly clear medium yellow with a decent sized white head. Sweet bready maltiness with a hint of honey. Floral citrus to balance, bit bad.

i wanted this to be lighter and crisper than it is. it runs a little long and a little malty sweet through where it should probably finish, and it loses some of its capacity for refreshment as a result. it also feels a little thin, like there isnt enough structure from the grain despite the sweeter malt flavor it has, almost feels watered down to me, although there is very good carbonation to it, which saves it from a mouthfeel standpoint for me. light metallic character, faint nuttiness which is weird in something called a blonde ale, and not much contribution from either the hops or the yeast, and like their ipa, it seems overly simplified and just not that good. with the finishing sweet element, its not even all that drinkable for the style, which in hot weather was a major turn off for me. decent with chilled seafood like peel and eats, but beyond that im not sure this is enhanced at all in a food context. i was a little disappointed with the couple of beers i had from fort myers brewing on this trip...

Not a bad beer by any means! Just that I had fond memories of this beer a little over a year ago. This time around since it was in a can and not on draft I'd say it lost its allure.
Far better than any macro blonde out there. Hands down.
But it wasn't great nor was it horrible. Just what you'd want to go fishing. A knockerbacker.

Pale golden, slightly cloudy. Nice white foamy head. Not a lot of aroma. Quite carbonated. Mild flavor. just the weensiest bit tangy and just a bit better than most mainstream beers. A nice ale for quenching a thirst on a hot day.

This is a tasty blonde ale. Not very hoppy but a light malt flavor with toasty notes. Pretty solid. The only problem with it is the description and picture on the can.

Pours a slightly hazy medium yellow with medium head and persistent lacing.
Smell is light sweet grain.
Taste is mildly bitter and grassy.
Smooth and enjoyable. Not a heavy blonde.

This is the beer that got me interested in craft beers a couple years ago. Still one of the better Blonde Ales I have had. Mix it 50/50 with their Cypress Strong Ale for a tasty Strong Blonde. Yummy!
