I really liked this place a lot. Out of the way location, in back of a light industry area but, I was there on a Friday evening and an amplified live band (Soul Elixir) was playing and there really is no one around to complain about the music. Not that it was real loud. A lot of there own beers with a good variety and two guest taps. An inside eating are and also an outside covered eating area right outside the rollup doors. No food but this day there were two food trucks on site. A wide variety of foods to choose. A place I will definitely go back to next time in town.

Do not serve food but had food trucks on site.

Live music on Sunday when I visited.

Nice place worth a visit.

Friendly and helpful staff.

The first entry into craft brew in Fort Myers and they are now very successful. Location works as a brewery in an industrial complex but the vibe is subpar. There isn't enough parking as the neighboring businesses put towing warning signs out and there is no real outside to be had.

They're recently expanded and made the location larger but while constructing, blocked off any view of the brewery in the back and in my opinion killing any of the true brewery charm.

The beer and service make up for the lack of charm as the bartenders are always friendly and the beer is excellent. They're also recently won best brewer in Florida! OYA (On Your Ass) IPA, Incognito Black IPA and the Cypress Strong are my favorites.

Nice brewery in the industrial section of Ft. Myers. Was still pretty new when we visited. Staff was friendly service was good. Beers were basic but solid. Look forward to visiting again as the venture out and broaden their selection. We think they have a bright future.

This is a very popular brewery in SWFL and rightfully so. As one of the first entrants, they've had time to create plenty of delicious beer and develop a strong local following. I visited during a big event and the place was packed, despite heavy rain in the area. The service was stellar and congenial, despite the workers having to deal with hundreds of people rotating through the two different beer lines that day.

They're currently expanding their space and that comes with the usual work, but it will make for a large taproom to hold more people inside. On a regular day, they will have a food truck or two visiting, as well as Food Truck Thursday where they have 5+ around. You can sit inside in the tap room or outside in the parking lot area. Don't let that dissuade you: the brewery is in an industrial park a bit outside Fort Myers proper and there won't be much traffic outside. It is a bit out of the way in terms of location, but not far enough to be an issue. If you're around for spring training, it's 1.5 miles east of where the Red Sox play.

While in Florida for Spring Training I visited 12 breweries/brewpubs. Amazing how the beer scene has exploded in Florida the last few years. It was not that long ago when you were hard pressed to find good beer. Of the 12, Cigar City and this place were my favorites. They are a brewery located in an out of the way industrial park, so do not expect much for atmosphere. But oh the beer! If you want atmosphere, go to the beach; if you want good beer, come here. As I recall, they had 8 to 10 of their own on tap. I was pressed for time (so many breweries, so little time), so I had a flight of 4, including a black IPA and imperial stout, and a pint of their IPA. All were excellent. Unfortunately they were out of their double IPA. They also have a few guest taps. You can sit outside and enjoy a pint ... in the parking lot. They do not serve food, but I understand they usually have a food truck out front. As with so many breweries, they have only been open a couple years and they are already expanding into the building next door. I can understand why. If you are in Southwest Florida, do not miss Fort Myers brewing.

My wife and I found FMBC while spending some time in Naples. We saw that they were having their annual Winterfest and thought we should try it. The beer list sounded great, and didn't disappoint.

They had about 10 regular beers on tap and additionally they had 4 rotating taps every 2 1/2 hours or so. On the day of our visit they had food trucks parked outside. Also noticed a cigar shop open next door, which I was a fan of but didn't partake in on this visit. Not sure if they own the shop or not.

As expected, the place was crowded, with lots of people in the parking lot in their own lawn chairs. Overall, it was a good vibe for an event like this and I loved that they rotated their specialty taps to accommodate people coming and going throughout the day (like us). We were only able to spend a little over 2 hours here, but it fell during a tap change so we were able to try some awesome stuff.

The En Fuego (Habenero Brown Ale) was delicious. I was really happy with many of the 10 or so beers I sampled. However, I should say, most of what we tried was on the specialty list that I was told they only brew for the special events like this. While their beers tasted great, their everyday lineup didn't excite me as much as this list. So if I visited on any other day, I might rate them slightly lower.

Hidden in an industrial setting. Food provided by nearby taco cart. The tacos are awesome! Pretty good selection of brews on tap and reasonable prices for what you get. Beers ranged from alright to pretty good. Didn't have one that I didn't like, but didn't have one I was in love with. Service is good and they are friendly and are willing to talk brewing with you. If asked they will show around the brewing operation located in back of tasting room. I wish them the best of luck!

So happy we finally have a brewery here in swfl. FMBC is housed in a warehouse in the gateway region of fort Myers. As you walk in you're greeted by the bar that has the ability to carry probably around 12-15 taps. FMBC had 6 of their beers on tap the day I was there with 3 guest taps. The tasting room is rather small with picnic tables lining the walls. One odd stools at the bar. You have to stand. The beer is solid. I think they had a blonde, a pale ale, strong ale, and a brown. They also blended the blonde with the strong, and had a small batch beer on as well. No food, but they do have food trucks that camp, out from time to time.

Overall, I hope they venture into more unique ingredients as they grow. The beer is solid, but I prefer more in your face flavors, which I have no doubt will come with time. FMBC will be getting a lot of my business.

Finally, a brewery has opened up in Fort Myers. This place is located in the industrial park side of Gateway. This works great for me because I happen to live in Gateway. They currently offer 5 of their own beers to go with a rotating selection of guest taps. They have a mix of solid beers right now, with Tamiami Tan being my favorite. The pale ale seemed under hopped. I'm hoping they soon add a DIPA and Imperial Stout to the rotation. I'm told they are going to start barrel aging in the future which would be awesome! The staff is incredibly friendly and willing to talk beer with anyone who asks, regardless of knowledge level. I really want this place to do well. Best of luck in the future.

This place is great! The first brewery to open in Lee County. Their Tasting Room is open on Friday from 3-9 and on Saturday from 12-6. Prices are very reasonable and all their beers are great! Nice atmosphere and plenty of good beer-talk. Sometimes a food truck (the Nosh Truck) comes on Friday or Saturday and sites outside. Come support an awesome local business!

Their only website is a facebook page, and a list of their beers can be viewed there as well.

The also sell shirts, pint glasses, and growlers (32oz). They will also fill gallons if you bring them in as well.

See you there!
