Drinking this at the brewery, draft poured into a pint glass.
Appears hazy orange, nice lacing, with a nice head that dropped quickly,
Smells bready and citrusy.
Tastes bready citrusy orange.
Mouth feel is medium light.
Overall good for the style, but, I'm not a huge fan of wheat, so I'd probably order something else

COD 8/4/17. Hazy golden pour. Quite outstanding head volume, world class retention and normal lacing.

Very good nose of light orange but lacks the significant spicy characteristics typical of wits imparted by yeast (clove). The base has a light malty sweetness and a touch of grainy wheat.

Light medium body with a nice smooth texture. The carbonation / body balance is normal and lacks the effervescence necessary to open the flavors up. The middle delivers a very mild effervescence while the finish is mildly prickly and somewhat soft.

The flavor profile is good / average, at best. Intensity is adequate, complexity is lacking and balance is very good. Like the nose, orange is the main component and resides over a sweetness even less than indicated by the aroma. Bitterness is extremely subtle to the extent that the grainy huskiness of the wheat is a main flavor component from the middle on. As indicated by the nose, typical wit characteristics are absent. Banana and clove are not to be found, which hurts complexity. The finish lingers.

Drank 2 weeks after can date in May '16. Liked it better last year. Getting some grassy soapy notes I don't love. Still a solid summer beer for a hot day

Slightly hazy deep gold wheat beer with a bright white head that leaves some random globs of lacing. Smell is wheat, straw, the faint smell of oranges, yeast and mild sweetness. The taste is mildly sweet with orange and a little spiciness. There is a decent carbonation. This is a nice refreshing wheat beer with a nice 6% kick.

12 oz can - pours hazy orange-tan color with a 1 finger white head. Appearance not very appealing to me. The aroma is orangey, some sweetness & yeast, slight honey notes, however the smell is very mild. The taste was honey sweetness upfront, some orange/ citrus favors and some bitterness from the blood orange peel on the end. Medium body with medium carbonation, I thought it has more body than other wheat ales I have tried. Overall tasty beer but slightly sweet for me.

Poured a cloudy yellow-orange type color with two finger head that quickly dies with minimal lacing. Get some yeast and spices in the aroma but it is very mild. The yeast keeps this beer smooth and fluffy, other than that it has a light body, the orange comes out akin to a bitter citric spice and there does seem to be some clove or peppers as well. Finishes easy, which is a plus, with touches of sweetness. Not much in the beer but what's in there works.

Poured on-tap and served in a shaker pint, the beer is a hazy, opaque, orange-tan coloring with a halo of white head. Nose of toasted grains and subtle citrus notes. You really have to dig for the aromas, though. Flavors are smooth and sweet, with a toasted backbone supporting tangy blood orange and subtle spicing. Smooth bodied, with a clean, smooth finish. The aftertaste is very subtle citrus. Very tasty, but could really use having the volume turned up on everything else.
