Picked up a Growler direct from the brewery (Discretion) Poured into a pint glass.

Orange-brown amber, looks and tastes different from our typical West Coast IPAs (awash with convention) ...

Crisp, dry caramel-infused boldness, with typical IPA characteristics; fruity-pine grapefruit,
with a tropical, sour-tang aftertaste.

Takes a wee bit to sink in, but once one gets a taste for Unk's Rye, (for me, half way through the first pint), it certainly
rocks the casbah!

Consistently good IPA from tap at brewery and at several local restaurants. Strong hop taste but not overbearing.

Sample on tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber orange with a light-tan head. Aroma is strongly citric, with a little toffee sweetness. Flavor bursts with orangey hops, followed by a bready sweet maltiness and a moderately bitter finish. The best of the four regular options available.
