Pours a hazed bronze color with strong effervescence and a finger-and-a-half of lasting, off-white head. Decent lacing.

Light orange marmalade, pine and biscuity malt in the nose.

Very tasting. Almost like an orange tea cake or something. (More specifically a poppyseed scone with orange-favored icing.). There's an earthy, tea-like impression as well, then a flash of bitterness on the backend, that's again followed by a sweet finish.

Medium bodied with appropriate carbonation.

The sweetness in this one caught me a bit off guard. Could be a good entry-level IPA. No canned-on date, so age is a mystery.

A twelve ounce can with no visible date received from a trusted BA. Poured in a tulip glass for the review.

Look- Pours a hazy dark yellow generating two fingers of creamy white foam that lingers forever eventually settling leaving heavy lacing behind.

Smell- Fresh squeezed OJ and pineapple juice, passion fruit, mango, a hint of malt.

Taste- Orange zest, pineapple, mango, passionfruit and floral esters. A hint of vanilla in the finish.

Feel- Pillowy soft and smooth as silk.

Overall- A palate pleasing array of citrus and floral with a silky feel makes this one flavorful easy drinking 7% beer. This is my first beer from this brewery and I was taken aback by the rather low rating for this one. Perhaps they're improving the recipe? Whatever the case, I'd gladly drink this again.

12 oz can poured into Pilsner Glass.

A: Chunky day white head that settles slowly. Body is a hazy orange almost tan.

S: papaya, a little mango, some lemon, and a little cantaloupe.

T: Nice bits of orange, grapefruit, a little lemon, and some pineapple.

M: medium to fuller body nice feel lower to medium carbonation.

O: this is a pretty damn good beer, I would drink it anytime.

I had this on tap at Carmel Mexican restaurant on Shroyer the other night and was pretty impressed. It had an authentic New England IPA feel, especally in color and textre. Nice overall effort. For what it's worth, the bartender said that they were flying through the kegs of his stuff so it is definitely finding an audience.

I'm trying this at the brewery. It poured a clear golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had tropical fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with citrus peel presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.

Can:
Pours yellow with a decent but Not completely blocking haze. Head is solid and lasts with a large coverage map on the surface. Moderate spotty lacing covers most of the glass wall.

Nose is fairly juicy, sweet grapefruit, orange, over-ripe pineapple and maybe a spot of passion fruit.

A medium body with a less viscous than expected feel. A little astringency and carbonation add a little bite to the feel.

Starts with a balanced malt grapefruit n and citrus bitterness. The latter grows and brings dulled versions of the fruits from the nose to the taste. The dulled aspect comes from the fact that the hops are bringing citrus rind/pith bitterness.

Tasty beer that I could see an improvement in feel helping increase my enjoyment. As it is it’s a juicy beer with a nice clean bitter-leaning ending.
