It was a hazy orange color. Aromos were really muted, like a pale. Fairly malty with a little bit of pineapple and grapefruit flavor. Not bad. I wouldn't seek it out again though. Pretty forgetable.

On tap at King's Table

Hazy amber with dulled brown highlights. Soapy, bubbly foam.

The aroma is stale citrus hops with a decent shot of pineapple. Toasty malt with a hint of caramel, too. Candied and floral hops. The citrus flavor is dulled even more but there is enough of a hop oil presence to be passable. Not much malt interference. The feel is pretty good overall - medium body with appropriate carbonation and a not bitter finish (though it does have a touch of caramel aftertaste).

All in all, not terrible for an Ohio upstart.

My first sip of this beer was straight from the Growler and I was pleasantly surprised. Nice taste of hops with a little citrusy hint of orange undertone. The head was decent, the body of the beer was very nice when poured to kind of an orangey gold. This was a very good beer on a hot day. 6.9 ABV. I am going back to Yellow Springs Brewery and have the sampler of all their beers based on this.

Pours a short white head on a murky dark orange body. Collar and cap sticks around.

Aroma on the sweeter side, somewhat earthy. Hops seem a bit subdued.

Follows the aroma. On the sweet malty side for today's ipas...a change isn't necessarily a bad thing here as Yellow Springs pulls it off. I'd guess this at 6.5%abv

Medium mouthfeel and carbonation.

Good beer overall. I enjoyed the first Yellow Springs IPA although I think it could be improved by overloading it with more hop presence. Thanks MaxSpang for the try!!
