32oz growler into a shaker pint.

A: Pours a vibrant, clear gold...almost copper with 1" fluffy white head that recedes quickly. Retention is good, lacing is excellent.

S: There's just not much going on here. I detect faint crackery malt with a touch of hop-bitterness & that's it.

T: Comes on with bright fruity notes, citrus rind & grapefruit. Mid palate strikes a great balance between citrusy hop-bitterness & more of a bready malt character. Finishes with a slight sweetness that mutates into a very satisfying bitter hop-punch.

M: Mid-to-high carb married to a perfectly middle-of-the-road malt body. It reads as super-refreshing, crisp & totally drinkable.

O: This Pale has fantastic hop undertones & just enough body. It's fairly deep yet amazingly drinkable. Impressive.

22oz bottle poured in to a chalice glass

A- pours a bright golden amber color with a small creamy white head that retains long after the pour, leaving some sticky lacing behind

S- smells very much like an English pale ale; tons of biscuit malt with some caramel & bready sweetness, underlying grassy, floral & citrus hops

T- taste follows the nose, lots of biscuit malt with some caramel and toasted notes, grassy and floral hop compliments the malt, with hints of citrus closing it out , more biscuit malt on the linger

M- medium body with moderate-low carbonation leads to a creamy mouthfeel that stays strong all the way to a chewy creamy finish, classic Alpine mouthfeel

O- quite different from the typical pale ale, but super drinkable and very enjoyable
