From growler to nonic pint glass

Classic looking pale; copper-tan, slight opacity and a fluffy, off-tan head. The nose is full of zesty floral notes with a citrusy bend, fairly pungent for the AB. On the palate, that floral note is distinct, with a sort of bitter, resiny aspect - grassy and astringent. Orange zest and honeyed malts offer balance, and a light-to-medium complexion keeps the brew relatively drinkable. Closes quickly with bitter residuals lingering between sips.

Definitely a unique hop but I'm not sure it's best showcased as a 'single' or primary hop. Not a bad brew overall though.

Not looking forward to this one. So far the series has just been OK, but I am figuring out which hops I like best I guess. This one came out in February, but I’m just getting around to it now.

Poured a honey, pale, clear color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy white head. Great looking uneven foamy lacing on the sides of the glass. Very good retention on the top all the way down. (Sight - 4.25)

Smelled Citra zest, lemon, lime, pine, hints of tropical notes, some honey and not much else. I guess that is Equinox? Smelling a lot like a pale ale. (Smell - 3.75)

Taste followed the nose, still reminding me of an APA. Got lime, earthy pine, hints of resin hops late, vegetables, onions and bitter tangerine rind. (Taste - 3.75)

Light-to-medium body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Average carbonation. Dry finish. (Feel - 3.75)

Not a bad beer. Not real familiar with Equinox, but I think it’s something that I’d like to have more of in the future. (Overall - 3.75)
