A soon-to-be favorite, if it's already not. This single IPA boasts pine, citrus, and cedar notes from Simcoe and Amarillo hops.

Slightly hazy light brown / yellow pour with head that doesn't last very long.
Possibly like cantelope, but very dull.
A tad too much carbonation. Has bread tastes and slight bitterness.
Feels thick in the mouth but too much carbonation.
Overall just a so so beer. Should NOT be a World-Class rating.

Can pour this evening- looks, smells and tastes like a quintessential west coast IPA. Hadn't drunk one in years and was pleasantly reminded of alpine beers in dark bottles from their early days. Tasty!

Draft pint in La Jolla. Pours hazy gold and orange with a thin fine head. Aroma: grapefruit, pine. Not a lot of aroma. Taste: grapefruit, pine, cracker. Bitter finish. Excellent IPA.

Best by 06/23/24 consumed 04/13/24 (review from notes). Bought in a 24 pack from Costco.
A&S: Good head retention, 2 fingers of foamy white head when poured. The beer is translucent honey colored. The aroma contains floral and earthy hops primarily. Surprisingly hints of tropical fruits kiwi and pineapple
T&M: The tastes is more malt forward, piney hops. Bitter. Very balanced IPA. The boday is medium, higher medium car. Sharp and tingling at first. Little watery towards the end.
Overall: I have always wanted to try this beer. It was very high in the ranking years ago. I had this beer several years ago while in Boulder, CO. The cans were slightly over the 3 months mark, so I didn't want to officially review. I don't think it meets the hype, but this is also not my favorite kind of IPA. This reminds me a lot of surely ax man (Another beer high up in the rating, that I am lower on).

Nothing wrong with the beer, just not my style. It's nor advertised as hazy, but it sure does look unfiltered. It taste like vitamins to me. It taste like citrus grapefruit. It's fresh tasting, again, nothing wrong with it, just not for me.

A very good beer that blends a pair of hops to create a balanced IPA. Poured from a 12 oz can obtained from my local Total Wine it does taste fresh enough and is quite good.

One of my go to IPAs whenever I was out west back years ago. So nice to find it here in LV (Total Wine). Hard to find out East for me. Simcoe and Amarillo hops. Great representation of the West Coast style
