On tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad
A: Vibrant metallic gold color. Fairly clean with just a few bubbles moving around. Head is full and creamy, almost snow white and sticky as hell.
S: A healthy blend between citrus and pine. Some grapefruit oils and pine resin are really what this is about.
T: Begins with watery lymon on the tip of the tongue then moves to some rustic grapefruit rind. Minor biscuit flavor adds an appealing backdrop. Spritzy bitterness encompasses mostly lemon rind as well as more grapefruit. Finishes mineraly dry with lingering bitterness.
M: Light body with a medium mouthfeel. Bit hard and slightly fizzy but I'd expect that from the style.
D: This is a pounder. I could seriously drink gallons of this. Goes very, very well with pizza!

Pint from Liars Club
Poured a golden yellow color with a 1/4 inch white head that faded immediately
Not much smell, a little hop evidence, but nothing overwhelming
Taste was nice a lot of yeast and light hops
Could drink a lot of these
Drank this after Pure Hoppiness, so probably did not taste as good if I were to have drank it before then
Still, a good beer worth trying
