Poured from a bomber into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Cloudy burgundy brown pour with 2 fingers of fizzy white head. Decent lacing.
S: Tart... funk and spice. Very faint pumpkin/gourd... fruity and complex.
T.F: Tart and vinous... wine and oak, with dark fruit/cherry. A bit of funk/straw. The spices are present but fortunately more in the background (maybe due to age? this is 11 years old) which works out nicely. Some pumpkin, but again not a dominant flavor. Medium bodied... well carbonated, and sticky on the tongue.
O: This was outstanding at 11 years age in the cellar. The pumpkin and spice were in the background (for me this is a good thing) which let the wine barrel and funk take over the brew. This one was a treat.

Dark orange pour, looks like Halloween and Thanksgiving all rolled into one, small 1/3" head on it, white. Aroma drops more holiday smells, like sour pumpkin pie, I really dig it.
Nice mixing of the sour, pumpkin, cinnamon and malt here. Easily the best beer ever made for this time of year. Awesome. Nutmeg stays the F out of the way. Some barrel notes, white more than red able to be discerned in the taste, red in the appearance.
This is a studly beer.
