Best beer selection in town. Always have a wide variety including local and out of town. Food is high quality as well. Can be loud if there is live music upstairs which kind of kills conversations but overall a great place.

Everything is just amazing at this location. The burgers are fantastic with a wide variety of toppings. You can even build your own (which I recommend). The beers are a wide variety from many local and regional brewers. Highly, highly recommended.

I visited twice, once for food and beer, the second time just for beer during a tap takeover. Both times I ended up sitting at the upstairs bar which is small and only has a few taps which means the servers take a long time getting you a beer. Asking for a taste of something didn't really seem appropriate given how far they had to go to get it. Service was fine, attentive but not particularly friendly. Both nights there was live music which was a very nice touch.

Lots of taps, most local and/or good. Food was solid, what a while back might've been above average but with so many craft beer bars upping their game it was actually a bit of a letdown. The sweet potato fries were probably the least flavorful ones I've ever had; not bad in any way but impressively mediocre for something I've never had someone screw up before.

Despite all that I'd still come back given the beer selection/quality.

Tons of taps, huge variety of Michigan brews to choose from, as well as some others. Prices were not bad, we sat at the bar rail, and the service was great even though they were quite busy on a rainy Saturday afternoon.

Food was quite good. The Ahi tuna appetizer was particularly nice. Lots of choices on the menu.

Will return.

My wife and I stopped in to check out this restaurant and its tap list. The business is located on the main retail street in downtown St. Joe, and is just a block from the city beach area on Lake Michigan.

The interior of the restaurant has a nice bar & grill feel to it. Two large chalkboards on the wall behind the bar listed many of the Michigan breweries and other items of interest about the drinks that are available and the specials that are offered (and a mug club). Although the tap list is the star of the beverage department here, the restaurant has liquor and wine available too. The beer list is printed on three pages at each table along with the wine list and some food specials.

Michigan breweries made up 46 of the 74 taps on the day that we were there (that included 3 Michigan meads or ciders), and the remainder of the taps include some other national or regional craft breweries, but only a few Bud, Miller or Coors products. Also available were 33 bottle selections and two beer offerings in cans, but most of these were Bud, Millers or Coors or imports.

The food menu focuses on the burgers, but other items were also available that are typical for a grill setting. The burgers that we ordered were very good, as were the house-made chips that came with them.

This restaurant boasts of having the most taps of any restaurant in Michigan, and they may be right. This is a must-stop for a serious beer lover when traveling in the area.
