‘t Kloosters Café (Vlaamingstraat 2) is quite easy to find without too much difficulty being centrally located in Delft. This bar is right at the end of, and on the corner of, the listed street address. The door to the Bar is also on the corner of the Café, which sports plenty of signs outside proudly advertising its function in life. There are some fold down seats outside on the walls, well when it gets warmer anyways, I visited end of November so went inside.
As you enter the corner door the Bar is just off to your right, and has a few of those high stools situated at the Bar. Otherwise you can choose one of the handful of wooden tables to sit at. A very small single roomed bar, this Café is rather basic inside and has very much a “locals” feel about it; relaxed, friendly, inviting, welcoming and quite cosy. Service is sharp, polite and very personal.

On draft there are 6 beers. Bottle beer list numbers around 65, a great selection that will satisfy most palates, including a good smattering of local Dutch beers and many Belgium beers. I had a Jopen Vier Granen Bokbier (6.5%), a very accomplished Dutch bitter-sweet autumnal beer that impressed. It was also interesting talking to the staff in this Café – they had a very good understanding of not only the beers styles, but the tastes of each beer, and were very helpful when making that difficult “what beer to have next?” decision.

This is the 3rd of the recognised Beer Bars in Delft, it has the smallest beer menu, and is the smallest in size, but don’t let that put you off. I would recommend coming here last after the other 2, mingle with the locals, chat to the friendly & highly knowledgeable staff, put your notebook away and just relax whilst enjoying drinking great beers.

I should start by saying I really like this place. Pretty much what I would regard as a traditional Dutch/Belgian bar.

Though small I'd consider this to be cosy and quite charming. I had just over an hour to kill before heading to Schiphol airport. Arrived at 5.00 on a Friday evening, it was fairly quiet when we arrived though got busy enough by the time we left.

Comprehensive beer list with big bottled selection and decent number of taps on. Westvleteren was listed on the board but they had none. Apart from that could hardly fault the place. Barman was very helpful an knowledgeable

This is really is my type of bar, though I may be showing my age here! If I come back to Delft I'll be heading straight to this place.

Maybe not the widest selection in Delft but they have great stuff and always something that really surprises me. Like a few weeks ago they had 3 years old St. Bernardus 12 on tap, and before that Anchor Christmas on tap. The standard selection includes all Trappists, great Geuzes and a lot of non-Inbev belgians. A friendly knowledgable staff and no screaming youngsters. I don't think they serve any real food, but they cheese plate is great! But one of the reasons I always end up here - I live in Delft by the way - is of course the atmosphere in total.

nice, small cafe but with few enough tables that there was room to move around. nice server happily chatted in English about beer, including American beer. six taps, four of which rotate frequently, we're told. great service. we literally knocked at the door when the barman was opening, and he begged us to come in when we hesitated; at first, it was us and his friends hanging out while he ate his lunch. then the place began to fill a little with locals drinking draft pils. I had some good Belgian beer. nice stop.
