Notes:
An American IPA hopped with criminal disregard. Featuring generous additions of Cascade, Chinook, and Mandarina hops, followed by hints of Munich malt. Ponzi's aroma writes checks that its flavor cashes. If it seems too good to be true, you're probably drinking Ponzi.

Pretty pour, straw color, white head, nice lacing. Slightly funky hop nose, decent. The flavor is sharp bitterness, without any particular flavor to reward the taxing build. I do not shy from bitterness in my brews, but I prefer something with more range.

Had on tap at Founding Farmers in DC. Taste is a bready, East Coast pale ale that is noticeably sweet. Refreshing and the alcohol is well hidden.

Where the hops at?! Sweet and heavy on the malts-doesn’t taste like much of an IPA. It has some bitterness balanced with the sweetness but not a whole lot else going on.

Wow, this is a real throwback. Tastes like an IPA from a brewpub in the late 90’s! Low hop aromatics, malt forward, good dose of bitterness. Well made, but there’s a reason few are doing this style of IPA anymore.

12 oz can about 4 weeks old. Very fresh.
This IPA wouldn't have been rated that well 5-10 years ago when all IPAs were bitter as hell, and today's change in style to softer, juicier beers isn't doing it any favors.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours orange yellow with a small white head. Smells of sweet citrus and tropical hops, very inviting. Tastes of sweet citrus hops with a nice malt backbone. Beer is light bodied and very easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, an above average beer.

Light gold, slight chill haze. Minimal white head. Ok retention, not much lace
Aromas of Grapefruit, a little bit of mango, hint of dank. Not too potent
More tropical in flavor than the aroma was. A bit too sweet.
A little bit cloying
Meh

Poured from a 12oz can into a speiglau ipa glass.
Look is a cloudy orange yellow with a thin off white head.
Aroma is a malty biscuit not much in the way of hops.
Taste is malt sweet with a balanced bitterness. Old school ipa by design and a good one at that.
