This is the home of the Blucy - a burger made of a half pound of angus beef stuffed with blue cheese and some variations on that theme. They were featured on Diners Drive ins and Dives, the crowd is friendly and the beer selection decent.

This is by far my favorite place to eat in the entire twin cities metro area!! They don't make their own beer here and their tap selection isn't big, but EVERYTHING on tap is amazing! Lift Bridge Saison, Rush River Bubblejack, Left Hand nitro milk stout, and my favorite local brewery Indeed....Indeed...mmm. Sometimes they have "Bells Brewing tap takeovers" as well!! The food here CAN NOT be beat!! Best burgers I've EVER HAD and the wings are even BETTER than the burgers!! The happy hour can't be beat either, 2$ draft pints - nuff said!!! I'm glad this place is just far enough away for me to not frequent as much as I would like cuz that would not be healthy for me.

The Blue Door Longfellow is has been my go to burger place since they opened. It is considerably larger than their St. Paul location, and both the menu and beer selection are larger. The Bangkok, Longfellow, and Horsekick Blucies are some of the best burgers I've ever tasted, and their burger of the moments usually fit my style. The beer selection is of mostly local stuff with a couple regional offerings and Hamm's mixed in. The service I've received over the years has always been prompt and friendly. Overall, this is a place I would highly recommend.
