Notes: White Tips is a white IPA, there's definitely little wheat in the grain bill giving this beer a hazy yellow colouring and a lacy head which persists. A light peachy aroma leads to a very refreshing taste with subtle spice notes, very saisonesque, not sure that's a word but that should give you a good idea of what you're getting here. A fantastic summer brew.

Hazy yellow color with creamy white head, looks really good. Aroma is really yeast forward with some brett like character, floral notes and some citrus fruits. Taste starts slightly bitter and yeasty, floral notes, some light citrus fruit character, quite bitter on the finish with lingering grapefruit pith flavor. Light body with medium to high carbonation. Quite interesting take on a witbier but I think the yeast and hops don't mix as well as expected.

Faintly hazed, clover honey gold with a thin white head with poor retention but some okay lacing. Both aroma and flavor are pleasantly citric-spicy-floral, mostly orange, bergamot, and coriander, with some very pleasant Sauternes-like ripe white/tropical fruit notes, strawberry bubblegum, and a little bit of yeast bite. Overall it's kind of like white gummy bears, actually. But it's also pretty dry and frothy, and the finish is sharp. Tasty and definitely drinkable, but not one of the best hoppy wheat beers I've had. Possible food pairings: mild Thai curries, pho, some sort of tagine, sheep's milk cheese, Waldorf salad.

Lovely pale golden with marshmallowy white head. Smells of tinned peach and grassy herbs. Taste is of apricot, orange and corriander. Clean and refreshing.

A 330ml bottle with a BB of Sept 2014, so it's a little out of date. Picked up a while back from Trembling Madness in York. Described on the label as a Wit/IPA combo brewed with wit yeast, spices, citrus peel and plenty of hops. For some reason, the main label on the bottle says White IPA (not White Tips).

A: Poured into a snifter. Bottle conditioned. A very hazy golden-amber hue with copious fine sediment. Yields a large head of creamy white foam that lasts for a few minutes before subsiding to a persistent surface layer.

S: Aroma of fruity hops with hints of white grape, mild melon, citrus, grass/hay, earthy yeast, a twinge of coriander, subtle wheat and faint stewed leaves. Excellent.

T: Tastes of fruity aromatic hops and yeast esters, with a sharp, dry finish. Notes of grapefruit, peel, citrus, white grape, mild melon, grass/hay, earthy yeast, a hint of coriander, husks and stewed leaves. A touch faintly acrid cardboard in the background. Well-attenuated, followed by a mild, leafy bitterness upon swallowing.

M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with soft carbonation and good body. Somewhat astringent, accompanied by an aftertaste of fruity aromatic hops, earthy yeast and harsh stewed leaves.

O: A quality effort; only slightly marred by harshness in the background. Looks good, while the aroma is great and the flavour not far behind. Plenty of fruity hop notes in evidence, underpinned by earthy yeast, grain and faint spice. Nice body. A hoppy sensation that goes down a treat. Worth sampling if you come across it.

On draft at Parker Pie
Light haze, gentle carbonation.
HopH forward nose, with some spice to it.
Body is light, a nice bite from hops, great lemon tang.
I am, glad to have tried this.

On draft, pours a slightly hazy gold yellow, good thin ring of white head, leaves lots of lacing on the glass.

The nose is very aromatic. Very floral, perfume, lavender, some rose petals, mixed with bubblegum and paint thinner. I also get some orange peel, a little spice, coriander. The flavor is a bit acidic, very floral, orange zest, lemongrass, ginger, pepper, and a spicy dry finish. This is very herbal and the floral is nice, but mixed with the acidity, it leaves to that paint thinner smell and ultimately taste. Too bad, could be alot better.
