This is the biggest, juiciest IPA we’ve ever made. This unfiltered gem has a slight haze with huge tropical and citrus flavors, but is surprisingly smooth for such an aggressive amount of American and Aussie hops. As East Coast IPAs continue to evolve we added our own take, to make sure the party just don't stop.

16oz can.
L: Hazy, sandstone colour, one finger of short-lived head and some decent lacing.
S: Earthy and vegetal. No citrus or tropical fruit, which was a surprise considering the style.
T: Orange zest and pith, root ginger (without the heat) and woodland floor.
F: Medium/light body with a smooth but kind of thin mouthfeel. Not great.
O: It’s ok. Bit of a shrug. Very underwhelming. Earthy, definitely not juicy.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a hazy orange- yellow color with a one finger head of fizzy white foam. The head fades rather fast leaving just a trace of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is sweeter with nice tropical fruit smells mixed with aromas of tangerine and grapefruit. Along with these aromas comes notes of a bready smell mixed with some smells of yeast and a touch of herbal hop. Other aromas of lemon and herb are there as well, producing a nice sweet aroma overall.
Taste – The taste begins with a nice sweeter tangerine and tropical fruit flavor mixed with a breadiness and some flavors of a grapefruit hop. As the taste advances the sweetness remains rather strong, with more sweetness of grape and a boost of tangerine coming to the tongue. Towards the end some tastes of herbal and earthy hop coming into the taste and with a touch of lemon, one is left with a pleasant fruity, but not overly sweet, and nicely hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew was thick and chewy with a carbonation level that is normal. For the style and the tastes, the feel was nice, creating a rather flavorful media to well appreciate the nice flavors.
Overall – A rather nice hazy IPA.

DATE: August 13, 2021... OCCASION: a sweaty Friday night spent enjoying some beers from our Newport trip... GLASSWARE: Duvel snifter... pours a hazy, opaque orange yellow body that supports a reasonable single-finger of clinging, white froth... robust citrus, mango, pineapple and lemon mix with tea and spice.... its first sip is bright, punchy, and sharp at the teeth... its presence is swift through the mouth and quickly finished at the throat... its ABV is undetectable in its body, though its draw is puckerish, suggesting a hop bomb... mango and papaya make for a formidable one-two punch, dripping with resin and citrus... its thickness and haziness are winning... this is a solid if not strong representation of the style, creamy and crushable...
