Poured from a can (I'll upload the picture later) into a glass, it displays a nice golden orange color, frothy white head that thins out halfway. The lacing is thin.
Good stuff going on in the nose; juicy, citrusy, orange, grapefruit, pineapple. There is some resiny and dank hops aroma.
Clean and crisp with a piny hops foundation that is delightfully smooth, moderate and not aggressive. Although mostly hops forward, some malt sweetness is felt in the finish. The overall palate is dry. The body is medium light and quite drinkable.
This is a really nice and session able IPA that is not overly complex but quite tasty.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. And yes, that can did come from the Mario Lemieux of canned beer, woodychandler. Has a golden color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of grapefruit, pine. Taste is identical to the aroma, Very little malts, mild bitterness. Feels medium/light bodied in the mouth and overall a decent beer.

Perfectly fine, well named session IPA. Try 1.

A: From can, a hazy bright yellow-gold body with a temporary foamy 1 finger white head which faded slowly, and layered and laced.

S Mild but fruity. Smells of grapefruit, pine, biscuit, lemon zest, flowers and floral hop.

T Tastes like the smell, but with more - grapefruit, lemon, fresh pine, biscuit, cracker, and floral hops then some light white pepper, coriander and more green forest leaves. Nicely balanced. Great afternoon beer.

F Mouthfeel is light, crisp and zesty.

From the can, pours hazy yellow gold color with a thick foamy 2 finger off white head that was full of bubbles of all sizes which faded very slowly, leaving decent spotty lacing and a foamy layer on top.

Smells of grapefruit, fresh piney hops, biscuit, Ritz cracker, lemon zest, flowers and floral hops, light pepper and mild spices; definitely a junior IPA nose, but it's soft fresh and full of nice hop buds of all varieties. Not even close to a hop bomb, but like the can says it a nice brew between an IPA and APA.

Tastes like it smells with grapefruit, lemon, fresh piney hops, biscuit, cracker, and floral hops starting it off, followed by orange peel, brown sugar, toasted grains, spices like pepper, coriander and faint spruce tips. A lot more malty flavor, but the balance is better and makes it an easy drinking session beer.

Mouthfeel is light, crisp and zesty, with mild carbonation, an overall feel that's on the thin and watery side, and a finish that's grainy with some moderate citrus bitterness. A nice local beer that had enough fresh hop notes to make me want it again, especially out of a can.

On draft. copper color, nice hop flavor and aroma. Unlike most beers billed as "session IPAs", this beer actually had some character and body to it, so good job.

On draft at TJ Finley's, Bayshore, NY.

Poured a clear brassy hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was good retention and lacing.

The smell featured resinous piney hops and a touch of citrus.

The taste was hop forward with waves of grapefruit and pine atop a round pale malt.

The mouthfeel was typical of the style.

Overall a very flavorful session IPA.

From 09/06/13 notes. Had this on tap at Pony Bar in NYC on the UES. 16 oz. pour in a pint glass.

a - Pours a hazy orange color with one finger of off white head and moderate carbonation evident.

s - Smells of wheat, light fruity malts, bready malts, grains, light citrus hops. Nose is decent but not very hoppy.

t - Tastes of citrus hops, grapefruit, fruity malts, lightly floral hops, bread, wheat, grains, light lemons. More hops here, much better than the nose.

m - Light to medium body and low carbonation. No real bitterness, pretty easy to drink.

o - Overall a decent local IPA. The nose had some fruit to it but wasn't very hoppy, though the taste had more to it. Worth checking out.

A great offering from the nano brewery Radiant Pig. The hop profile is well balanced and it definitely rides the line between a traditional IPA and a pale ale. Hops definitely hits the nose, but the taste is more subdued. A great beer for a hop-phobic individual. With a rather light body, I was tempted to throw back more than three in under an hour.
Overall, a very good beer from a new brewery.

A nice sessionable drinker. Hop tones are noticeable but nowhere near obnoxious. Earthy with a touch of salt and a bit more pine. A biting carbonation I could deal with a little less of really. But overall a nice brew. Something to drink and enjoy without thinking too hard about it. Nice job, Radiant Pig.
